The Badlands is a contry containing a huge jungle in the Southern Hemisphere of the Mushroom World.
History[]
It is EXTREMELY DANGEROUS for all humans and civilization. It is invested with millions of different creatures that live in the vast, dense forest. There are also poisonous plants, towering trees, and millions of thick deep swamps.
Outsider Civilization[]
The only human civilization in the Badlands is at Camp Jesper. It is a heavily fortified camp that does scientific studies, holds all the government buildings, and is the only checkpoint for transportation through the Badlands.
Native Civilization[]
Most of the creatures in the Jungle are so populous and intelligent, that they all cooperate with each other in peace but very lawless. They act very harshly towards outside invaders. But there is one force so intelligent that they were able to construct vast and complex machines. They are a group of nocturnal snake-like creatures with big heads with one huge eye-ball. They have built giant egg-like machines that usually hide inside the swamps during the day but emerge at night time to open up and release the snake like creatures. During the night, they completely booby trap the jungle and go hunting for the creatures which do there best to either fight back or hide in safety. Their giant egg-like machines open up and turn into giant walkers and tube machines. The snake creatures come out and build booby traps that kill hundreds of the jungle's creatures. But the peaceful creatures always outnumber the snakes and their machines. And usually destroy many machines by the morning. But during the night, the snakes also construct many new machines, so it is a constant problem. Throughout the jungle there is always a constant war between the creatures and the snakes.
