Boord is a Boo. He is the only Boo who has the special ability to grow facial hair.
He is friends with Goombarbe, Koopbeard and Beardo. They are all part of the Mushroom Kingdom Beard Appreciation Club.
Boord was an ordinary Boo until he ate the Beard mushroom. The same thing happened to other members of the Mushroom Kingdom Beard Appreciation Club. They have invited Mario and Luigi to join, but have not had a reply from them yet. Toadiaso has offered to be part of the Mushroom Kingdom Beard Appreciation Club but as he's not from the Mushroom Kingdom but from Bean Bean Kingdom, he cannot.
Boord is the loveable rogue of the party, always playing tricks on Goombarbe and Koopbeard. He has a secret crush on Beardo. He also has asthma but nobody can usually tell, and it helps having a ghost breathalyzer.
