Goomba vs. Kirby is a crossover fanfiction short written by MarioFan65. It is a crossover between Super Mario and Kirby with a Goomba being the star of the Super Mario side of the story. It was released on July 2, 2021.

Transcript

(In Dreamland of Planet Popstar, a waterfall is seen as Kirby is seen sleeping with Keeby, Gooey and his animal friends at the mountains. The background song "Over the Mountain; Across the Sea" by Bobby Vinton plays as Kirby wake up, taking a shower in the waterfall as Keeby and the animal friends with Gooey eat a bunch of strawberries as Kirby pass out the apples for his friends to feed one. Keeby, Rico and Coo smile as the others trade their foods and eat them in peace. Gooey lick a ice cream cone as the others eat ice cream while Gooey eat the ice cream on the grass. Kine, ChuChu, Nago and Pitch also eat a bunch of cupcakes as well by passing some to Kirby and Keeby. As the background music stops, far away from the mountains, King Dedede and his Waddle Dees are on board on a flying ship, seeking to plan a threat on Kirby and his friends.)

• Dedede: *use a telescope to look around* Did you see any pink bubble around here?
• Waddle Dee #1: Nope. Not on my watch.
• Waddle Dee #2: I see a sea of clouds in the sky.
• Waddle Dee #3: Hey look! I found Kirby and the others sleeping over at the mountains.
• Dedede: Ah, yes. Prepare the missiles. And shoot!

(The flying ship started shooting missiles, blasting at the mountains as Kirby, Keeby, Gooey and the animal friends are shocked by King Dedede's arrival. Kirby and the others run from the missiles blasting all over the mountains as the waterfalls started to crumble up and collapse into pieces with water splashing into the jungles.)

• Dedede: Ha ha ha ha ha! You can't stop me! Give me your strawberry shortcake!
• Kirby: *scared as he hold on to his friends together*
• Dedede: Give me one more missile to shoot.

(One more missile shoot Kirby and his friends into the other side with the gang having nowhere to hide as they are encounted by King Dedede. Keeby ask Kirby to leave and find some help to defeat King Dedede and his Waddle Dees as a warp star show up in the sky for Kirby to ride on.)

• Dedede: Well, well, well. We got a fight to catch on. Charge!
• Everyone: *the Waddle Dees clash with Kirby's friends as Kirby ride on the pop star to escape Dreamland and out of Planet Popstar*

(While King Dedede fights Keeby as the others fight the Waddle Dees, Kirby fly with his warp star all the way across the universe and heading from world to world. In another world at the Mushroom Kingdom, Mario, Luigi, Yoshi, Toad, Toadsworth and Princess Peach have a picnic together at the Mushroom Kingdom Park with a mat set up with food on their side.)

• Peach: I hope you all enjoy the picnic as fast as you can.
• Mario: Great food.
• Luigi: Mama mia. I love this hot dog curled up bagel so much.
• Yoshi: *eat the cookies* Taste like sugar cookie.
• Toad: I love my sandwich.
• Toadsworth: It's the best of both worlds. You really prepare this up like a saleswoman.
• Peach: I took the effort to prepare everything before the actual day.
• Mario: Well it is the actual day. You totally cooked this up like a champ.
• Peach: I'm pretty much like a chef. Thanks for the feedback.
• Mario: You're a welcome.
• Luigi: The yum yums can't stop until we're full like full gas on karts.

(In the skies, flying airships from the Koopa Troop are seen, lead by Bowser, Kamek, Kammy and Bowser Jr. in charge as they watch over the Mushroom Kingdom park, trying to look for Princess Peach to capture.)

• Bowser: Where is the princess?
• Kamek: No sign of princess around here.
• Bowser: *hit Kamek* Use your binoculars, dummy!
• Kamek: Okay! Okay! *use his binoculars*
• Bowser Jr.: Daddy, how long we're going to be here for?
• Bowser: As long we capture the princess.
• Bowser Jr.: We're on the search for her. Today's the day.
• Bowser: My day is to rule the Mushroom Kingdom, not rule over the junkyards of garbage like soda cans and plastic hanging up on my castle gates!
• Kammy: Kamek, how's the search doing for you?
• Kamek: I found her. She's at the picnic with the Mario brothers.
• Bowser: Ah, yes. We finally hit the spot. Prepare the Bullet Bills and fire!
• Hammer Bros.: All hail the Bullet Bills! *set the Bullet Bills cannons*
• Koopatrols: Fire in the hole!
• Shy Guys: It's time to take out the trash!

(Mario, Luigi, Yoshi, Toad, Toadsworth and Princess Peach hold their wine grass with fruit punch on their hands up)

• Peach: Cheers for the best picnic in the decade.
• Everyone: *cheer their drinks up* Cheers!
• Luigi: *see Bullet Bills in the sky* Uh, is it me, or we're having a comet festival going on?
• Mario: Wait a minute. That doesn't look like a comet festival to me. We're having a Bowser attack in the moment!

(Bullet Bills blast all over the Mushroom Kingdom park as the gang crash over to the grass in danger from Bowser's arrival)

• Yoshi: My foot!
• Mario: Mama mia.
• Luigi: Get up, get up, get up! We're in danger!
• Peach: *her gang wakes up, shocked by Bowser's arrival* Oh no!
• Bowser: *evil laugh* Hello again! Sorry to crash your picnic party. I'm going to ask you to take the princess for me.
• Mario: No you won't! You'll never grab the princess from me, or the authorities of the Mushroom Kingdom government!
• Bowser: If you don't bring me the princess over, i'm going to spread out a big attack on you.
• Mario: Make me.
• Luigi: Mario, don't.
• Bowser: Seize them!
• Peach: Run for your mushroom lives! *run with her gang*
• Mario: *see Bullet Bills blast against his run* Mama! *jump around*
• Luigi: *scream from the Bullet Bills attack*
• Bowser: Enemies, go grab them! Now!
• Everyone: *a Goomba, a Koopa, a Shy Guy and a Sumo Bro show up to block the heroes*
• Mario: Let's a fight. *fight a Sumo Bro*
• Luigi: *jump on a Koopa Troopa and kick the shell out of the way*
• Goomba: *growl like a dog to Toad and Toadsworth*
• Toad: Nice there boy. Nice little boy.
• Toadsworth: He's trying to fetch on my stick.
• Peach: *use her umbrella to hit on a Shy Guy*
• Sumo Bro: *step on the ground from smashing*
• Mario: *see a little earthquake on his position* Whoa.
• Luigi: I got him brother! *punch a Sumo Bro out of the way*
• Goomba: *head bump on a Toad*
• Toad: Ouch. That gotta hurt!
• Mario: *run and kick the Goomba*
• Goomba: *crash on the rocks*
• Mario: Yeah!
• Bowser: No! Kamek, do something to the Goomba.
• Kamek: Aye aye King Bowser. *fly over to the Goomba with his broom*
• Peach: What is the Magikoopa doing?
• Mario: He probably won't make the Goomba go Goomboss on us.
• Luigi: Tell me i got a bad feeling about this.
• Toadsworth: It's always a bad feeling.
• Kamek: You think the Goomba was too small for you to kick? Think again! *spread magic around the Goomba*
• Mario: Uh oh.
• Goomba: *turn big by roaring*
• Mario: Mama mia!
• Luigi: It's big as a mountain!
• Bowser: *evil laugh* Now you got a big Goomba to chase. Chase them!
• Goomba: *run at Mario's gang*
• Mario: Let's a run!
• Toad: We're all gonna die!

(Kirby show up with a warp star and hit over a big Goomba as Kirby crash with his warp star to the ground, only for Mario's gang to see Kirby and the warp star on the ground)

• Peach: What is that?
• Mario: Wait, i know who that is. It's Kirby. I remember fighting him at the Midair Stadium.
• Luigi: *grab Kirby* Looks cute, but we gotta get out!
• Goomba: *run after Mario's gang*
• Kirby: *woke up as he jump to bump on a giant Goomba*
• Bowser: Huh?
• Bowser Jr.: What is that thing?
• Peach: Kirby is up.
• Toadsworth: At least, he is awaken by the noise.
• Kirby: *see face to face with a big Goomba*
• Goomba: *step on Kirby*
• Peach: No!
• Mario: Mama mia.
• Luigi: He is squash like a bug.
• Bowser: Yes! We finally got rid of the annoying pink bubble. Great job Goomba. Now go after the Mario brothers and bring the princess to me.
• Peach: No no no. He can't be dead yet. I wish he was big as a Goomba. *her powers glow*
• Kirby: *turn big with the help of Peach's powers*
• Goomba: *tripped by Kirby turning big*
• Mario: Whoa!
• Luigi: Now it's a big battle going on!
• Bowser: What the deuce?!
• Bowser Jr.: How can he turn big when that Goomba stepped on him for like a second?
• Kirby: *punch Goomba*
• Peach: Go Kirby, go!
• Mario: Do it for the Mushroom Kingdom*
• Kirby: *jump and slam the Goomba*
• Goomba: *bump on Kirby*
• Kirby: *bump over to the airships*
• Bowser: Not my airships. Pay attention Goomba! Knock the pink bubble out!
• Kirby: *inhale the Goomba, swallow it and shoot the Goomba at the remaining airships*
• Goomba: *destroy the mountains*
• Luigi: Holy buckets!
• Goomba: *run and smash Kirby*
• Kirby: *jump over the Goomba*
• Goomba: *spin and hit on Kirby*
• Kirby: Ah! *crash into the pond as the Cheep Cheeps swim away*
• Luigi: He's cracking the whole park apart!
• Yoshi: Why can't we assist him on destroying the Goomba?
• Kirby: *swallow water*
• Goomba: *run to Kirby*
• Kirby: *spit water at the Goomba as he spit water at all the airships*
• Bowser: *his airship is shot by Kirby's water spit* Caution in warning! We're going to fall!
• Kamek: Control the airship!
• Bowser: *control the airship and try to lift it up to prevent from crashing* It's too big to lift!
• Kammy: It's just a airship Bowser. Every wooden ship is like that.
• Bowser: I'm not in a captain ship! And i am not in a pirate ship either!
• Bowser Jr.: I'm too young to die.
• Goomba: *bump at Kirby*
• Kirby: *grab Goomba and slam him into the water*
• Goomba: *break the ground and smash Kirby up and slam him down*
• Kirby: *roll over by breaking the mountains and running over Goomba*
• Goomba: *jump and bounce on Kirby*
• Kirby: *dizzy*
• Goomba: *jump and bump on Kirby*
• Kirby: *dizzy and trip down on the ground*
• Goomba: *kick Kirby to the snow mountains*
• Mario: The Goomba is kicking Kirby to the mountains!
• Peach: Come on! We gotta follow them over!
• Kirby: *get up and punch the Goomba to the mountains*
• Goomba: *bump the mountains to drop snow on Kirby*
• Kirby: *destroy most of the mountains to throw each mountain at Goomba*
• Goomba: *press his feet and run to crash Kirby on the mountains*
• Kirby: *defeated*
• Goomba: *evil laugh*

(Bowser is struggling to lift the airship up from crashing in much of Bowser Jr., Kamek and Kammy's annoyance)

• Kamek: Let's go! I don't know why you're taking it too young to move it up.
• Bowser: I can't. This is just a stupid airship! *smash the ship wheel* I can't ride it like a captain of the ship.
• Kammy: I know ths toy can. *point at a mechakoopa walking*
• Bowser: What?
• Bowser Jr.: It's a toy.
• Kammy: I know what to do.

(Kammy use her wand to turn Bowser, Bowser Jr. and Kamek including herself small and went into the Mechakoopa as the Mechakoopa transform to Mecha-Bowser as the airship crash with Bowser, Bowser Jr. Kamek and Kammy taking control of Mecha-Bowser on the inside)

• Bowser: What is this thing?
• Kammy: I turn it into a Mecha-Bowser in the face of you!
• Bowser: Alright! It's showtime!
• Kamek: Make way to the mountains!
• Bowser: Let's go destroy the pink bubble right away. *control Mecha-Bowser to run over to the mountains*

(Mario, Luigi, Yoshi, Toad, Toadsworth and Princess Peach reach to the mountains as they see Goomba stepping on Kirby)

• Peach: No!
• Mario: We're too late.
• Luigi: We're doomed.
• Yoshi: I told you i should have ate the Goomba in the first place.
• Toad: What does it mean for all of us?
• Toadsworth: There is no time to give up yet! We cannot resist on losing!
• Mecha-Bowser: *show up roaring*
• Peach: Oh no.
• Mario: That is one big mecha form of Bowser*
• Mecha-Bowser: *Bowser's voice* Stay back people! Let me take a shot at this Kirby bubble.
• Goomba: *turn back on Bowser's team and bump at Mecha-Bowser*
• Mecha-Bowser: *Bowser's voice* Whoa! Watch it! Stop turning your back on us!
• Kirby: *get up and fight Mecha-Bowser*
• Mecha-Bowser: *fire blast at Kirby*
• Kirby: *dodge and jump to hit on Mecha-Bowser*
• Mecha-Bowser: *Bowser Jr.'s voice* That hurts!
• Goomba: *bite on Mecha-Bowser*
• Mecha-Bowser: *Kamek's voice* It bites!
• Bowser: *inside Mecha-Bowser* Do something!
• Mario: Come on Goomba and Kirby, you can do it!
• Luigi: I thought the Goomba was the enemy!
• Kirby: *roll over and trip down Mecha-Bowser*
• Mecha-Bowser: *tripped down*
• Goomba: *head bump on Mecha-Bowser*
• Kirby: *run and punch Mecha-Bowser*
• Mecha-Bowser: *plasma blast all over the mountains*
• Yoshi: He's destroying everything!
• Mecha-Bowser: *laser at the Goomba*
• Kirby: *block the Goomba as he is hurt by the laser to push the lasers on Mecha-Bowser*
• Mecha-Bowser: *run and punch Kirby*
• Kirby: *crash over to the ice*
• Goomba: *jump and slam on Mecha-Bowser*
• Mecha-Bowser: *Bowser's voice* Get off my head!
• Goomba: *smash on Mecha-Bowser*
• Kirby: *punch Mecha-Bowser*
• Mecha-Bowser: *glow up and fire blast all over the mountains*
• Mario: Oh boy...
• Luigi: Oh man...
• Kirby: *inhale Mecha-Bowser*
• Goomba: *jump and crush Mecha-Bowser down on the ground*
• Mecha-Bowser: *get up*
• Kirby: *bite Mecha-Bowser as he throw him up in the sky*
• Goomba: *jump and bump on Mecha-Bowser*

(Mecha-Bowser suddenly crash in the sky as Bowser, Bowser Jr., Kamek and Kammy crash over to the water as pieces of Mecha-Bowser started to fall)

• Bowser: No! *splash in the water* No, no, no, no, NO!
• Kamek: We lost.
• Kammy: Darn it.
• Bowser Jr.: It's okay Dad. We always lose sometimes.
• Bowser: I cannot believe i was DEFEATED! Curse you Goomba and Kirby. Curse you all!

(Goomba and Kirby fist bump through the feet as Mario's gang celebrate the defeat of the Koopa Troop)

• Mario: We did it!
• Luigi: We finally won!
• Peach: Justice for the Mushroom Kingdom!
• Goomba: *cuddle on Kirby*
• Kirby: *hug Goomba*
• Toadsworth: Aw, look cute these two are.
• Toad: I think the Goomba is not that bad.
• Yoshi: He was treated harshly by Bowser's minions.
• Peach: Well, it's look like you're all going to be turned back into your small size. *use her powers to turn Kirby and Goomba small*
• Kirby: *look at himself, seeing how small he is*
• Goomba: *feel his feet*
• Mario: Hey little guys, you won. You really won the battle.
• Luigi: I saw you guys bumping and fighting like Kaiju monsters like, "Boom! Bang! Whoosh! Wheeze! Ka=pow!" Totally nuts.
• Peach: You did amazing. I know you Kirby and what can i call you little Goomba? How about Gall?
• Gall: *smiles*
• Toad: I hope you stay safe looking for a home to live Gall.
• Toadsworth: Good luck Gall. I hope you find what you're looking for.
• Gall: *smiles and hug Kirby*
• Kirby: *wave bye to Gall*
• Gall: *run off*
• Mario: I'm really going to miss this Goomba*
• Luigi: He was a good friend.
• Peach: So Kirby, where are you heading?
• Kirby: *sense his friends in danger*
• Peach: Oh, you really gonna go. Don't you?
• Kirby: *shook head as yes*
• Toadsworth: Okay. You take the warp star with you and you'll be off to go like a airplane.
• Kirby: *call out his warp star*
• Mario: Wow, that's a big warp star.
• Luigi: So precious.
• Kirby: *hop on the warp star*
• Peach: I hope you keep in touch with us one day when we get to go out together.
• Toadsworth: So long Kirby. You take care of your homeland.
• Kirby: *wave bye and fly off to his world*
• Mario: He's one sweet bubble.
• Luigi: I wonder what species he is. I think he should be called a Kirby like his name.

(Back at Dreamland, Keeby, Gooey and the Animal Friends are struggling at the dead end of the mountain as King Dedede hold his hammer with the Waddle Dees in order to succeed his victory on defeating the gang)

• Dedede: You got nowhere to hide now. It's game over for you all.
• Keeby: Ah! *point at Kirby arriving with the warp star*
• Dedede: No no no! Don't you even think about it! *Kirby crash him and the Waddle Dees out of the mountains* Ahhhhhh!!!!!! I'm falling like a caterpillar!
• Everyone: *Kirby's friends cheer for his return*
• Kirby: *do his victory dance*
• Keeby: Ah pa. *hug Kirby with the gang*
• Kirby: Poyo! *make up his mind to host a celebration with his friends*

(Kirby, Keeby, Gooey and the animal friends celebrate at the pond of the jungle as Kirby swing with the ropes and jump in the pool with ChuChu, Nago and Pitch splashing water at the gang. Gooey luck the apples as the gang eat the apples together with oranges on their side. They watch over the stars to see shooting stars falling at night as the gang went to sleep together with the Moon shining over Dreamland.)

• It was originally set to be released on July 1, 2021 before being pushed back the following day of July 2, 2021.
• The short is based on Godzilla vs. Kong which was released the same year as the short.
• The timeline is set in 2012, taking place between Mario and Spyro: Dark Dragon and Club Penguin And Happy Feet The Crossover.
