Mario and Sonic: The Wrath of Smithy (Chapter 1)

Chapter 1 is the first chapter of Mario and Sonic: The Wrath of Smithy written by MarioFan65.

The chapter is called "An Old Return".

Plot

(In a dark realm, a flip-flop-like king flies through the ruins of broken machines and engines all over the deadly dessert. He search for the most powerful king of all of the multiverse around the distant area of the universe.)

• Wicked: Rusted, old, garbage, dead. No master can wrath their army to fix all of it. I see something shiny with a crown on it. Ooh.

(The king flies over to a broken head of a blacksmith)

• Wicked: Ooh, Master Smithy. The greatest blacksmith of all of eternity. If only i had his powers, i would rebuild him into a mastermind. Oh well, i wonder how this works. *use his powers to recreate Smithy*
• Smithy: *yawn*
• Wicked: Whoa. Master Smithy. It's you. You're alive. I can't believe i looked everywhere for you. What happen? How did you crashed into the dark realm?
• Smithy: I was dead for years.
• Wicked: Dead? How come?
• Smithy: That red plumber by the name of Mario has beat me into the battle at my factory. Anyways, my factory was destroyed.
• Wicked: Your factory. Where is your factory?
• Smithy: Crushed when the sword Exor blew himself up. I'm going to get my revenge on that red plumber and destroy his little planet of his. Then i will take over the universe filled with machines and supervillains alike. By the way, what is your name?
• Wicked: I'm Wicked. So you have heard of that Mario guy, didn't you?
• Smithy: Yes. What makes you revive me back to life?
• Wicked: We used to conquor the multiverse together. I trained in Dimension D to test my skills. I learn how to throw a magic ball into a cardboard.
• Smithy: Make me a ship and bring back all the people from my gang.
• Wicked: Yes sir.
• Smithy: Don't you call me sir.
• Wicked: Sorry. Your request has been granted.

(Wicked use his power to wipe up the desert and create a doomship with his powers as Smithy and Wicked are on the doomship in the top)

• Smithy: Wow. I can't believe the desert is actually a city.
• Wicked: That's no city. I create the doomship with my powers.
• Smithy: Oh. I better get working on recreating the Axem Rangers.
• Wicked: Axe them? Axe the rangers?
• Smithy: No. The Axem Rangers. It's a team. I show you at the lab.

(At the laboratory, Smithy use his tools to build the rangers and use some source of lava and metal to reignite the forge. Wicked witnesses the five Axem Rangers being made.)

• Wicked: Ah ha. That's the spirit. Red, black, green, pink and yellow. What about the blue one?
• Smithy: I am thinking of building a new member of the team with scraps.
• Wicked: No body parts of a dead robot?
• Smithy: It's for my own use of good. *show his footprint of Axem Blue* This is what i'm going to make. A new leader. The red one will now be a assistant to the group.
• Wicked: Show them what you got.

(Smithy then use the big spoon to take the Axem Rangers show and use some special machine to spray on the Axem Rangers with colors. Axem Blue was also made from scratch as the axes are build on a strap.)

• Smithy: Work them out.
• Wicked: Yes Master. *use his powers to work on the Axem Rangers*
• Axem Rangers: *turn on*
• Smithy: Oh my, they're finally made.
• Axem Red: Where am i? What happen to me?
• Smithy: Axem Red.
• Axem Red: Hello Master Smithy. We are back in business.
• Smithy: I want you guys to meet Axem Blue.
• Axem Blue: Well hello there. I am your new leader, Axem Blue.
• Axem Black: First there was a yellow, now there's a blue.
• Axem Green: Looking sharp.
• Axem Pink: Oh my. I never seen a Axem Ranger in blue.
• Axem Yellow: Big and strong like daddy. Huff huff huff!
• Axem Blue: Don't make me cut your heads off.
• Axem Red: Oh no. Please don't Axem Blue. We promise to not make jokes around you.
• Axem Blue: Good. Then we are aimming to travel throughout the multiverse. Where are we heading master?
• Smithy: We are now ready to leave this world and enter the universe with the mushroom heads on it. Make way Wicked!
• Wicked: Eyes to the hole!

(The doomship open a portal to another world, traveling to space)

• Smithy: As long we reached Earth, we are about to invade the Mushroom Kingdom and capture that red plumber in coins! *evil laugh*

MARIO AND SONIC

THE WRATH OF SMITHY

(At the Mushroom Kingdom, a fighting stadium is seen with a larger audience cheering for the next match of the tournament. The Lakitus set everything for the fight as the cameras are on and the microphone is on for the announcer.)

• Lakitu Cameraman: Ready, set, now film! *record the footage*
• Lakitu Announcer: Ladies and gentleman, welcome to the 45th annual Mushroom Kingdom Fighting Tournament!
• Everyone: *cheers*
• Lakitu Announcer: I know everyone is excited to see our latest fights. But we will also be having special guests joining with us today. Give a big hand to Princess Peach!
• Everyone: *cheer for Princess Peach*

(Princess Peach Peach, Toad, Toadette, Toadsworth and Luigi are at the top, getting cheered by many fans on the seats of the stadium)

• Peach: Hi! *blow kisses to everyone*
• Toadsworth: Wow. What a big tournament the world have ever built.
• Toad: It look like Wario Colosseum if it doesn't have net tracks sticking on the pillars.
• Toadette: Great setting for the fight.
• Peach: I love the audience.
• Toadsworth: Very worthful.
• Luigi: I'm in the top!

(The fight is almost ready to begin as the Lakitu Announcer pick out on one of the fighters to choose to join for the battle ring)

• Lakitu Announcer: Even in this day, we're going to present you all the amazing battles from one of the greatest fighters in the world. Coming from the Mushroom Kingdom, New Donk City and much more. We are also going to have special guests from other worlds as well. Are you ready to rumble?!
• Everyone: *cheers*
• Lakitu Announcer: Okay! We are now going to present the two fighters who will be joining the battle.
• Toadsworth: We got a battle in the making.
• Toad: It's worth a coin to see the show.
• Lakitu Announcer: Right now. Our first fighter. He has been saving Pauline from the construction towers from Donkey Kong, saving the princess from the King of the Koopas, known as Mr. Video and Jumpman. Won many kart racing grand prixs and you know who his name is. Give it up for Super Mario!
• Everyone: *cheer*
• Mario: *show up* Yahoo! It's a me, Mario.
• Everyone: Mario! Mario! Mario!
• Mario: Ha ha ha.
• Peach: Mario!
• Toadsworth: Alright!
• Luigi: It's your game Mario! We hope we can win this!
• Mario: Yeah. I'm a number one!
• Toad: You go boy.
• Lakitu Announcer: And not at least, he was known as the blue blur, the speed devil and the fastest thing alive by running through loops on the hills. He collected rings and diamonds-like Chaos Emerald to give against evil. You all know his name. Cheer up for Sonic the Hedgehog!
• Everyone: *cheers*
• Sonic: *show up* Oh yeah! Speed is my game!

(Sonic's friends are cheering for him on the battle ring in one of the seats)

• Tails: Go Sonic!
• Knuckles: You can do this.
• Amy: Go baby go! We love you.
• Cream: Don't forget, Cheese love eating some Sonic related foods after saving the universe in 2008.
• Cheese: *eat a Sonic ice cream popsicle*
• Knuckles: Jeez, even the eyes are messed up with the gumballs like how the artwork was suppose to look before reality can go bad as aged milk.

(Mario and Sonic look at each other in the battle ring)

• Mario: Are you ready to fight?
• Sonic: Oh yes i am.

(The lights are out with everyone shocked with flashlights popping out with gas with "Sirius" by The Alan Parsons Project playing in the background)

• Mario: Mama mia.
• Sonic: Why are the lights so dark? Are we having a halftime show or something?
• Lakitu Announcer: *footage of the Badniks invasion is shown on screen as he bring out his speech* Years ago, there was a huge crisis on both worlds. The King of the Koopas and a mad scientist were working together, building hundreds of robots to take over the world and we survived the invasion of the Badniks trying to destroy our world. Some lives were lost and some lives lived and survived. Today, we are going to honor our heroes who defeated the bad guys who were responsible for this massive war tragedy. With all that said, let the match begin!
• Everyone: *cheers*
• Mario: We got fans.
• Sonic: You know what they say Mario. Let's fight.
• Mario: Yahoo!

(Mario and Sonic begin the fight in the ring with fans cheering on the seats)

• Peach: Go Mario!
• Luigi: Yay! It's Super Mario.
• Toad: The Champion of Games.
• Amy: Come on Sonic. You can win big!
• Sonic: *fight Mario*
• Mario: *shoot fireballs at Sonic*
• Sonic: *dodge the fireballs* Missed me.
• Mario: Hyaa! *hammer smash on the ground*
• Sonic: Spin kick! *spin kick on Mario*
• Mario: Mama mia. You keep playing my game.
• Sonic: You're too weak. *thunder punch on Mario*
• Mario: Yao! *avoid tripping over the ring*
• Everyone: *cheers*
• Sonic: Sonic fans, are you not entertained?!
• Everyone: Sonic! Sonic! Sonic!
• Mario: Mushroom Crisis, this is like the fight with Kirby all over again.
• Sonic: Come on Mario. Give it all you got.
• Mario: Let's a go. *fire blast at Sonic*
• Sonic: Yikes! *dodge the fire blast*
• Everyone: Whoa!
• Lakitu Announcer: That is my kind of game. Great match you guys.
• Sonic: The fight ain't over until i get my reward. *punch Mario*
• Mario: *kick Sonic*
• Sonic: Darn it. *jump and bounce on Mario*
• Mario: Hey. *grab Sonic's leg and slam him down on the ground*
• Sonic: Ouch, ouch, ow, ow, ouch.
• Everyone: *laugh*
• Sonic: *light up and punch Mario*
• Mario: *trip* Wa-hiii!!
• Sonic: Nailed it.
• Mario: You look good for the match.
• Sonic: Better than nothing.
• Mario: *kick Sonic*
• Sonic: *punch Mario*
• Tails: Sonic is really cool with all of that fighting type stuff.
• Knuckles: He been playing a lot of video games and watching movies lately.
• Amy: You know when he became to be known as a cool kid.
• Cream: That's my word.
• Peach: Come on Mario, you can do it.
• Luigi: Don't crash!
• Mario: *jump and kick Sonic*
• Sonic: Uh oh. *curl up to a ball*
• Mario: Hey.
• Sonic: *roll around the ring*
• Everyone: *cheers*
• Lakitu Announcer: Now we're getting some great scenes. Bring in the lightning.
• Sonic: *light up while rolling*
• Everyone: *cheers*
• Mario: Oh boy, this is going to be a bumpy hit*
• Tails: Sonic!
• Peach: Mario!
• Mario: *hold the hammer* Let's a smash! *smash Sonic*
• Sonic: *trip* Whoa! *crash*
• Everyone: *cheers*
• Peach: Alright!
• Toadsworth: Go Mario, Go!
• Luigi: Yahoo!
• Tails: Aw.
• Knuckles: He was so close on winning.
• Amy: Darn it! He should have shot right where the hammer is.
• Sonic: *get up* You're stronger.
• Mario: Over here.
• Sonic: Fist bump! *punch Mario with the fist*
• Mario: Can't go through the spot.
• Sonic: Oh yes i can.
• Mario: Make me.
• Sonic: Whatever you say. It's my game.
• Mario: *jump*
• Sonic: Huh?
• Mario: *smash the ground*
• Sonic: *dodge the hit*
• Mario: Come on bro.
• Sonic: I can do this all day, but throwing my rings off the air.
• Mario: *open up a fireball* How do you like it now?
• Sonic: Oi. Too hot. That is very hot.
• Mario: Hyaa! *fire blast at Sonic*
• Sonic: *curl as a ball to dodge the fire blast*
• Mario: Get back here!
• Sonic: *jump and kick Mario*
• Everyone: *cheers*
• Cream: Woo hoo!'
• Tails: Alright!
• Knuckles: Sonic is really kicking it.
• Peach: Come on Mario. It's your big moment.
• Luigi: Go go go!
• Toadsworth: Win the match for us!
• Mario: *jump and punch the ground*
• Sonic: Wow man. You must be tuff.
• Mario: *wind blast at Sonic*
• Sonic: Whoa, take it easy.
• Mario: *form a wind ball* Here we go!
• Sonic: Oh snap.
• Mario: *blast Sonic out of the ring*
• Sonic: *crash to the wall and fall on the ground* Ooh, i almost broke my ankle.
• Everyone: *cheers*
• Lakitu Announcer: This is the end. The fight is already over. The winner of this match is Super Mario. I know you all love him. Today is our biggest day!
• Everyone: *cheers*
• Mario: Yahoo!
• Peach: Yay!
• Toadsworth: He won big!
• Toad: I love this guy.
• Toadette: We won big.
• Luigi: That's my brother.
• Mario: Go mushrooms!
• Everyone: *cheers*
• Sonic: I tried my best to win. I should have used the rings to win.
• Amy: Sonic.
• Knuckles: You lost man. What happen?
• Sonic: I lost.
• Tails: At least, you did good with the fighting skills.
• Sonic: Yeah. I should get better with all of my moves next time at the training room.
• Amy: You broke my heart!
• Cream: Oh well. You still have some trying matches.
• Cheese: *sip on a blueberry slush*
• Tails: Oh look, they're about to give Mario something.
• Knuckles: A trophy!
• Sonic: Give me a break.

(The Lakitus came to greet Mario as the winner of the match as they hold a trophy on their hands)

• Lakitu Cameraman: Congratulations man. You won the match.
• Lakitu Announcer: You are on point.
• Mario: I'm a good plumber and protector.
• Lakitu Announcer: This just in, Super Mario is the winner of this Mushroom Kingdom Fighting Tournament!
• Everyone: *cheers*
• Mario: *grab the trophy* Ha ha ha! I won!
• Luigi: Go brother!
• Toad: You're the best.
• Peach: We love you.
• Toadette: Ha ha.
• Mario: Yeah. I'm number one.

(After the fighting match is over, Mario and Sonic's gang hang out at the park, laughing and celebrating by eating mini burgers and chili dogs at the table)

• Luigi: My brother's the man.
• Mario: Feeling strong now.
• Sonic: Great job Mario. I knew you were going to beat me on the match.
• Knuckles: Great game you guys. You fight like champs.
• Mario: This is how much i trained before the actual competitions.
• Luigi: You are on fire.
• Mario: Pretty much have the best moves in battle since 2004.
• Amy: I made some chili burgers.
• Luigi: Mama Mia. They smell good like ribs.
• Peach: You are a pretty good chef Amy.
• Amy: Sure I am. I used a lot of cooking efforts to make these.
• Luigi: It's better than nothing.
• Sonic: Next time, i'm training in the tournament before the fight.
• Amy: Hope you get better.
• Sonic: I'll try to keep up with my rings.
• Mario: These chili dogs are so good. What did you add in those?
• Sonic: Taco sauce. It's the best sauce used in meats.
• Knuckles: How can you use taco sauce on everything? That's on burritos.
• Sonic: It's my choice. Once again, my choice.
• Tails: Everyone have their right to add in what sauce they want in their meal.
• Sonic: My man, Tails.
• Peach: Next time, i'm bringing cupcakes to the park.
• Amy: When we do these type of picnics again, we're going to eat a variety of dessert.
• Cream: Don't forget the strawberry shortcakes.
• Toad: These chili dogs are yummy.
• Peach: Thank you for all coming in. We guys deserve a big treat from us.
• Cream: What are you offering us?
• Peach: Sugar cookies!
• Sonic: Oh wow. These sugar cookies are going to give me a sugar boost.
• Mario: That's sugar to you!
• Luigi: Boy, it's like freezing in here.
• Sonic: I don't feel the freeze on the park.
• Mario: It's Spring. We shouldn't be facing cold weather like this.
• Toadette: At least, we still have a good time with the fight.
• Toadsworth: Thanks for the dinner.
• Sonic: I'm thankful for the place.
• Toadette: I'm sure do, you pretty much enjoy it a lot.
• Sonic: Piece of cake.
• Toad: Well, that's a wrap up for today.
• Amy: It's fun meeting you guys.
• Tails: The match was amazing.
• Knuckles: Sonic did his best on lightning up his powers and throwing a big blast on Mario.
• Luigi: That was the bomb.
• Sonic: No fair. I would have win that match.
• Mario: You tried to win. I won that match.
• Sonic: Well Mario, you're the best fighter out of every fighter in the world. You owe me. I think you deserve to win.
• Mario: Thanks a bunch. I always keep my knees together to get my head in the match.
• Sonic: You'll go for it whatever you can.
• Mario: The best of luck to you.
• Luigi: Good friends make good promises.
• Toad: That's the motto.
• Sonic: Oh well. The sun getting low. We should head back to our world.
• Knuckles: We'll have things to do tomorrow morning.
• Amy: Great picnic you guys. We had fun times together.
• Toadette: The best picnic we ever gotten.
• Cream: Great timing with the picnic.
• Amy: Just wrapping it up.
• Mario: And we're-a done.
• Sonic: I ate a lot.
• Luigi: I wish i can save room for mochi.
• Mario: Until next time, we'll meet again soon.
• Sonic: Great work. We'll go back to the castle to go into our warp pipe.
• Peach: Sure indeed.

(At Princess Peach's castle in the warp pipe room, the warp pipes are set up for Sonic's gang to return to their world)

• Mario: You're all-a set.
• Sonic: Thanks buddy. Maybe we don't have to use the rings to go back.
• Mario: We got the pipes ready for you.
• Knuckles: Thanks for turning them on.
• Mario: You're-a welcome.
• Amy: Say, when you are going to get a nice new bow-tie?
• Mario: What? I don't work in a casino. My brother does.
• Cream: Wish him the best of luck making all of that coins.
• Luigi: Oh yeah. Gotta make the coins.
• Toadsworth: Do you need anything to go? I save some corn dogs for you to try.
• Sonic: Nah. We just ate too much. No need to bring food on the go while we have frozen food back in our house.
• Toadsworth: That's fine. Come back any time soon for our delicious pastries.
• Sonic: Hope we'll be there.
• Mario: Good luck on the go.
• Tails: All set and ready to go back.
• Cream: Thanks again. Let's return home my friends.
• Sonic: Let's go! *his friends jump into the warp pipe to Mobius*
• Luigi: And now, they're gone.
• Mario: I'll miss them.
• Peach: Don't worry, they'll be back.
• Toadsworth: Look at the bright side. You got friends with us.
• Mario: Yeah.
• Toad: The world is going to turn your back on you.
• Mario: I see.
• Luigi: Let's go eat some frosted cookies for dessert.
• Mario: You say so.
• Toad: It's going to be a great one.
• Peach: Wish the best of luck for Sonic.

(At Bowser's Kingdom, we see a dark sky and fire all over the rocky plains. Lava is coming out from the falls as the Koopatrols are walking into Bowser's Castle. Inside of Bowser's Castle, the Koopatrols enter the room, marching as they hold their axes up. Bowser came in the room with Kamek and Kammy by their own.)

• Bowser: Ah, what a perfect march-up.
• Kamek: You really have a great troop of Koopatrols.
• Kammy: We're doing great business with the empire.
• Bowser: All of my Koopatrols are standing like guards. How nice.
• Kamek: Hail to the king.
• Koopatrol #1: Welcome lord Bowser.
• Koopatrol #2: Great to see you.
• Koopatrol #3: How it's going?
• Bowser: A great day for our kingdom.
• Koopatrol #1: We'll be cooking up some armors.
• Koopatrol #2: Salute!
• Bowser: You guys are worthy of my clients.
• Kamek: Everyone deserve a medal.
• Kammy: No one shouldn't be picking or eating during these roll calls.
• Bowser: All of my minions are worthy enough to train and punch punching bags out of the Mario brothers.
• Koopatrol #4: King Bowser, your throne is clean and ready for you to sit.
• Bowser: Thank God. The perfect chair for me. *sit on the throne* Ah, it would be like cracking a bunch of bricks in the underground.
• Kamek: Welcome back to your throne.
• Kammy: The perfect chair needed.
• Bowser: Alright. What can i offer you all? Talk to me.
• Koopatrol #1: We would all like new armor.
• Koopatrol #2: I want new cups.
• Koopatrol #3: My shell need to be fixed.
• Koopatrol #4: The armor suits need to be cleaned at the washer machine.
• Bowser: Too many requests to ask at once.
• Kammy: Where are the Koopalings? They must report for duty.
• Bowser: Bring them over!
• Kammy: Yes my king.
• Bowser: I want them over so i can give them the orders for their jobs.
• Kammy: Coming right up.

(At the Koopalings' bedroom, the Koopalings are playing around in one big bedroom and play a pillow fight all over the room)

• Larry: Give me a toy!
• Morton: Morton own a action figure!
• Wendy: I'm getting sick of this game!
• Iggy: *act silly*
• Roy: What is this pillow fight? What is the point of this game?
• Lemmy: *bounce on the bouncing balls* Bong! Bong! Bong! Bong!
• Ludwig: I got magic in my wand! *shoot magic on the bouncing balls*
• Lemmy: *crash down* Hey.
• Ludwig: Ha ha, got your balls.
• Lemmy: Where did the balls go?
• Bowser Jr.: Lemmy, they just disappeared from magic.
• Lemmy: They're gone! Where can I find them?
• Bowser Jr.: It poof out. You blew it man.
• Lemmy: He the one that poof my balls out!
• Bowser Jr.: Larry, bring his balls back.
• Larry: Fine. *poof magic to bring back Lemmy's bouncing balls*
• Lemmy: Yay! My bouncing balls are back! *bounce the balls*
• Larry: There you have it. Are you happy now?
• Lemmy: *bounce the balls* Yes. Thank you!
• Bowser Jr.: You're very welcome.
• Kammy: *arrive in the room* Koopalings! The king need you over at the hallway.
• Bowser Jr.: Already?
• Kammy: Yes! It's morning folks! Every morning, the king want you at the hallway to see him in the throne! Let's go!
• Lemmy: Come on! I just got my balls back.
• Kammy: You got all day to jump. But you got work to do!
• Larry: Get over with it.
• Wendy: Daddy is going to kill us when he see the mess in the room.
• Kammy: Just get out of here while i'll do the cleaning.
• Koopalings: *leave the room*
• Kammy: *use her wand to clean the room* Much better from the last mess.

(Back at the hallway, the Koopalings came with Kammy to see Bowser)

• Bowser: Hello Koopalings. Hitting on point.
• Bowser Jr.: Good morning dad.
• Bowser: Good morning my Koopalings. It seem you woke up on a nice warm bed and play all over the room, didn't you?
• Lemmy: At least, my bouncing balls came back.
• Larry: King Bowser, give us anything good you like from us.
• Bowser: Oh really. I got a job for you. You're all being forced to work in the factory!
• Wendy: What? You want us to work into that garbage factory? You're crazy!
• Ludwig: Where do we get our fun?
• Bowser: I order you kids to work with the Koopatrols and I'm warning you right now.
• Lemmy: That's just lazy. Where is our fun?
• Bowser: I send you eight to work!
• Morton: Morton says "Don't push us to work!"
• Bowser: Go now!
• Ludwig: Man, you are waiting to push us for work.
• Iggy: It's just one of those days. *hit his head with a Koopa shell*
• Larry: We'll do what we have to do, father.
• Bowser: I'm giving you orders on the job and the Koopatrols are bringing you over right now.
• Bowser Jr.: Do i bring my paintbrush to the factory?
• Bowser: No. You do not bring your paintbrush and paint all of the armors into my factory. No items and toys allowed!
• Bowser Jr.: Ugh. I should have design the armors better.
• Bowser: No one should be cheating on my armor set!
• Kammy: Go on now. You got work to do.
• Kamek: Move it all along!
• Kammy: Go ahead you brats.
• Larry: I hate rushing through all of that work.
• Morton: Morton hate this.
• Bowser Jr.: Thanks a lot dad. *leave to go to the factory with his Koopalings*
• Kamek: So boss, what we got planning?
• Bowser: I must check process on Mecha Mario's power level.
• Kamek: Did Eggman contract you? Or did he forgot to respond?
• Bowser: I'll update him with Mecha Mario's process. Once he's fully charged, he will destroy the Mario brothers for good.
• Kammy: He'll shoot every single hero in the Mushroom Kingdom.
• Bowser: He's suppose to be much powerful than all the Sonic robots Eggman has built over the years.
• Kamek: I was just going to say that.
• Bowser: Come with me to the lab.
• Kamek: You're going to show process on Mecha Mario, right?
• Bowser: Yes. Now come along. Both of you.
• Kammy: I believe in your science.
• Kamek: Looking sharp.

(At the lab, Mecha Mario is seen charging with power as Bowser, Kamek and Kammy walk into the room)

• Bowser: Mecha Mario is charged and ready to take down the Mario brothers soon.
• Kamek: He must be supercharged then.
• Kammy: A great power level this robot has.
• Bowser: He has potential to capture the princess.
