Chapter 9 is the ninth chapter of Mario and Spyro: The Shadow World written by MarioFan65.

This chapter is called "Captured".

Plot

(In the aftermath of the destruction of the Dragon Realms, we are now back at the Dark Dimension where the group is standing)

• Tomas: No, it's all gone.
• Sorcerer: Everything you love is gone.
• Tomas: You ruined everything. You make Astor killed the Old One Horn.
• Red: *smash the Old One Horn* There, he's cracked as a shard.
• Tomas: You know people don't reform from their shard prison.
• Feather God: That's right, you're sticking with us now.
• Tomas: Red, how could you do this. You let the Dragon Realms disappear.
• Red: There is no more Dragon Realms. Everyone is gone and we're proud of it.
• Tomas: Where are we going to live? In Avalar? Mushroom Kingdom? Skylands? Anything else?
• Red: No. You're with us now. I'm glad to have you join in our side.
• Sorcerer: The Mushroom Kingdom will be controlled by us. All the shadow minions and shards will be moving there to take over and end all the worlds apart.
• Feather God: All we gotta do is wipe half of the universe apart.
• Tomas: You're not helping.
• Fire Minion: Shush!
• Ice Minion: You're frozen. *freeze Tomas*
• Sorcerer: All ready to go.
• Feather God: Good. Go to the Mushroom World for your takeover.
• Sorcerer: Yes master. Moving day is today.
• Feather God: If we defeat Mario and Spyro, then we will send the shards over to destroy the universe.
• Red: Glad you asked.
• Sorcerer: To the Mushroom World!

(Sorcerer's group teleported. Back at the airship, Mario's gang is locked up in a prison cell.)

• Mario: Whoa. Where are we?
• Spyro: Oh no, we're trap.
• Luigi: Bowser caught us all.
• Vivian: Wow, how did we get in here?
• Donkey Kong: Uh oh.
• Diddy Kong: We need to escape. Vivian, move us down to escape.
• Vivian: I can't. There's wood everywhere and i can't move through wood.
• Sheila: The airship is made of wood, that's the problem.
• Beldam: We can't move down.
• Marilyn: Me too.
• Sparx: I don't know what are we gonna do.
• Boshi: That was the only way out. I can't believe that Koopa King caught us all.
• Yoshi: I hate prison cells.
• Birdo: Me too.
• Mario: Where is the princess? Where is Princess Peach?
• Luigi: I don't see her Mario. She may be at the top of the airship.
• Mario: Oh no.

(At the top of the airship)

• Bowser: Well, well, well. Seem beautiful, haven't it?
• Kamek: Yes. What a nice day outside.
• Kammy: Sure is bright.
• Bowser: Sun. I hate the sun. We're almost there.

(The airship headed to Bowser's castle as the airship land on the airship station. The Koopatrols release Mario's gang from their prison cell.)

• Spyro: Thank you. Now we can torch your butt.
• Koopatrols: *use a taser on the group to hold them to their prison cells*

(Back at the top of the airship)

• Bowser: *grab Peach from the cage* Let's go my princess, we have a lot of work to do.

(The Koopatrols lock Mario and his friends to the prison cell as Bowser lock up back in a cage in his throne room)

• Bowser: My future princess, we are just getting started.
• Private Goomp: Hi Bowser.
• Bowser: Elite Trio! What are you doing here?
• Corporal Paraplonk: Elite Trio? That seem a good name for our future group. How are you doing today sir?
• Bowser: *faceplam* Fine.
• Sergeant Guy: It seems that we finally capture Mario and one of his animal friends.
• Bowser: Yeah. We also got the purple dragon as well.
• Private Goomp: I thought dragons don't exist anymore.
• Bowser: They do! Everyone out! Out!
• Corporal Paraplonk: Fine Bowser, we're outta here.
• Sergeant Guy: Have a nice day.
• Bowser: I hate these guys. Lazy bums.
• Kammy: Um Bowser, one of the koopatrols said that you have to watch over the Koopalings.
• Bowser: The Koopalings?
• Kamek: Yes. Sorry to said it to you.
• Bowser: What? Did they clean their room?
• Kammy: No. Neither do their homework.
• Bowser: They never did their homework for our school program. I'm going to check now.

(At the Koopalings room)

• Wendy: Give me back my teddy bear!
• Larry: No, it's mine.
• Morton: MORTON WANT A TOY!
• Iggy: Have anyone seen my hair dryer? I'm about to change my hair color.
• Roy: Ooh, who wear these baby glasses anyway?
• Lemmy: *jump on the ball* Bong, bong, bong, bong, bong.
• Ludwig: Give me that ball!

• Bowser Jr.: Hand over the wand.
• Ludwig: Never!
• Bowser: *slam the door to enter the room* Koopalings! What is this mess?!
• Wendy: Sorry papa, my brothers were being so mean.
• Bowser Jr.: But i didn't do anything.
• Bowser: Son, boys, girl, you're all grounded!
• Koopalings: What?!
• Bowser: Did you clean off your room?
• Bowser Jr.: Um, no. We were just having fun.

• Koopalings: Awwww.

(Back at Mario's group in the prison cell of the castle)

• Mario: I hate this place so much.
• Luigi: Me too.
• Spyro: Great. Now we are trap for a reason.
• Sparx: I knew it was going to happen.
• Yoshi: I can't believe it.
• Boshi: Locked in some castle? No way.
• Birdo: There have to be a way out of here.
• Cynder: There's turtle knights everywhere.
• Luigi: They're Koopatrols.
• Cynder: Koopatrols?
• Luigi: They are like a Koopa Troopa, but a knight.
• Vivian: Hey, i know what we can do. Get out in the shadows.
• Mario: No Vivian, we would easily get caught by the Koopas.
• Vivian: Awww.
• Marilyn: I can't stay here for long.
• Beldam: Me too.
• Spyro: Gosh. Stupid Koopas, i knew they would be coming back. Why didn't you tell me before Mario.
• Mario: I came to your world, but you didn't.
• Spyro: Thanks a lot.
• Mario: Oh no, we can't lose our friendship.
• Spyro: Too bad so bad.
• Flame: So bad, it's good.

• Ember: We're all going to be alright. Just stay calm.

(In the rocky plains of the Ruined Kingdom, the Sorcerer and his group arrives from teleporting)

• Tomas: What is this place? Where are we?
• Red: This is where we are going to take over.
• Sorcerer: Yes. The end of all lifetimes. It was once a beautiful place. Look how it turn out. Bad.
• Fire Minion: Bad as my lava.
• Ice Minion: Yeah yeah.
• Tomas: Get me out of here.
• Red: No. You're staying with us.
• Sorcerer: This is where we take over. The universe will be ours. Mankind will be no more.
• Fire Minion: If only we can destroy the planets, that does it.
• Sorcerer: Yeah. Time will tell.
• Tomas: Not! I'm out.
• Red: *control Tomas' powers*
• Tomas: You paralyzed me!
• Red: Ah, i got his powers.
• Tomas: I can't stand up anymore.
• Ice Minion: Ha! You're not going anywhere.
• Tomas: You lock me up you monster.
• Sorcerer: Look at the ugly sky. How ugly it is.
• Red: Bad.
• Sorcerer: I see bad everywhere. I wish it was nice and bright.
• Red: I wonder how the people used to live in this kingdom.
• Sorcerer: I called it the Ruined Kingdom.
• Red: I know.
• Sorcerer: Once a very beautiful place and destroyed by many Koopa armies around.
• Tomas: How could you?
• Red: Quiet!
• Tomas: Fine.

(Back at Bowser's castle at the throne room, Bowser and Bowser Jr. enter the room)

• Bowser: Look what i have for you.
• Bowser Jr.: Mommy!
• Peach: *wake up* Huh? Where am i?
• Bowser: Surprise.
• Peach: Ahhh!
• Bowser Jr.: Hi mama, did you miss me?
• Peach: I am not your mama!
• Bowser: Look like you're sticking with me. That sonic blast worked out amazing.
• Peach: You monster. Wait til Mario and his friends come.
• Bowser: Oh, i capture them as well. Sorry to give you the bad news.
• Peach: Mario!

(Mario hear the voice of Peach in the throne room while the gang are in their prison cell)

• Mario: Did you hear that?
• Luigi: It's the princess.
• Mario: Princess Peach, that's it.
• Spyro: We're trap. I want to get out of here now.
• Sgt. James Byrd: Sorry soldier, there's no way out of here.
• Spyro: Getting caught again would be a bad idea.
• Cynder: I know Spyro. We're stuck in some castle-like prison. I hope we can get the heck out of here.
• Donkey Kong: Yeah. I want to break free.
• Diddy Kong: Me too.
• Mario: It's okay everyone. Time will only tell.

(Back at the rocky plains at the Ruined Kingdom)

• Sorcerer: Red, you have the power to hold the force up with the power of gravity.
• Red: Gravity, that's it.
• Tomas: No, no!
• Red: Silence!
• Sorcerer: Do whatever you have to.
• Red: I will.
• Sorcerer: Go ahead.
• Fire Minion: Destroy the world now.
• Ice Minion: It's our chance.
• Red: *float up* Ah, what a beautiful world, isn't it.
• Sorcerer: Yes. Destroy it.
• Tomas: Don't do it!
• Red: Yes. Everything will be wiped out. Let's get rid of the planet.
• Sorcerer: Sure thing. Let's build a new castle for us. A larger one and powerful than our previous one.
• Red: Right back at you. *feel the force*
• Sorcerer: *use the force to wipe the whole ruined kingdom out*
• Red: *use the gravity force to move big grounds and cliffs out*
• Fire Minion: Wow.
• Ice Minion: Check this out.
• Fire Minion: The rocks are moving up like they're in outer space.
• Ice Minion: It feel like a new era is about to come.

(The ground started to shake a bit, coming from the Mushroom Kingdom as big rocks started to break apart, causing the Toads to panic and run. The noise is heard from Peach's castle.)

• Toadsworth: What is happening?
• Cho Lei: I don't know. Earthquakes, maybe?
• Ragnar: It seems that the Sorcerer have arrived. We were not trained well for this battle to happen.
• Bianca: I can't feel it.
• Hunter: Me too.

(The ground started to lift up from the desert as the Koopas and Dry Bones are running from the high cliffs. Back at Yoshi's Island, the mountains started to break apart from the force.)

• Yoshi Chief: My beautiful island! What are we doing to my beautiful island?!
• Thunderfoot: Earthquakes. I can sense it.
• Yoshi Chief: In the sky?!

(The bananas flew up as the palm trees pop up from the sky of Donkey Kong Island)

• Dixie Kong: Eek! What is going on.
• Cranky Kong: Earthquakes! Why won't they stop?

(The kremlings are running from the earthquakes as King K. Rool tries to steady on the cave)

• King K. Rool: Steady......steady.

(The city of New Donk City is breaking apart from the force in the sky)

• New Donker #1: What is that?!
• New Donker #2: The world is changing!
• Pauline: Everyone stay calm! This is just an emergency!

(At Sarasaland, the ground and cliffs started to break from the force)

• Daisy: Whoa! What is happening?!
• Toad Guard #1: Are they taking the land away from us?
• Toad Guard #2: I don't know why.

(In the seas, Captain Syrup is sailing her Sweet Stuff pirate ship as the ground from the water is forming a circle, connecting to the Ruined Kingdom)

• Syrup: What is that?
• Pirate Goom #1: The ground from the ocean is forming a circle.
• Pirate Goom #2: I wonder where it leads to.
• Syrup: It's false treasure! Be careful on the way to the island.

(At Diamond City, the ground started to crack from the earthquake as the sound was occurring in Mona's Pizza)

• Mona: Whoa, what is that?
• Manager Joe: The ground is about to break apart and heading to the sky.
• Mona: I hear noise. Everyone is watching the end of the world.

(Back at Bowser's castle, an earthquake is being occurred as Mario and the gang were hearing it in the prison cell)

• Mario: What is that noise?
• Spyro: It's the Sorcerer. They tracked us down.
• Luigi: Eek! The world is in danger.
• Yoshi: We need to get out as soon as possible.

(Bowser and his minions are hearing the sound of the gravity force)

• Bowser: What is that noise?!
• Kamek: Earthquake i guess.
• Peach: Oh no, not again!
• Kammy: It will stop in a moment.
• Bowser Jr.: That stupid sound won't go away.
• Bowser: Don't worry, it will be gone soon.

(The Koopalings were hearing the noise of the gravity force)

• Wendy: Whoa!
• Larry: The ground is making a line.
• Morton: Morton look at the broken things in the ground!
• Ludwig: I can't believe it.

(Back at the Ruined Kingdom, half of the land is destroyed and the broken walls from the sky form a castle together)

• Sorcerer: Rise my new castle. We will connect both the Shadow Realm and the Dark Dimension together to destroy all the worlds.
• Red: It's happening.
• Tomas: Stop this earthquake now!
• Sorcerer: No. It's still happening at guest.
• Tomas: Guest what?
• Sorcerer: Be quiet!
• Tomas: Fool.

(The broken walls created the bigger floating castle as the gravity force and earthquake stop)

• Red: Welcome home.
• Sorcerer: Our new home.
• Fire Minion: It looks good.
• Ice Minion: It's even bigger than the last one you made.
• Sorcerer: Perfect as always.
• Tomas: Why did you do that?!
• Sorcerer: A new world will rise. First, we gotta destroy this universe first.
• Tomas: I'm not helping.
• Red: Oh yes you are. You are one of us and that's final.
• Tomas: Well i'm not doing it.
• Sorcerer: Be a part of the plan.
• Tomas: No. I'm too scared to reach to you.
• Red: You can't even walk.
• Tomas: You destroy my world, i'll destroy yours.
• Sorcerer: Oh yes. Feather God have to wipe your universe apart. It's all gone. It's all finished.
• Tomas: Damn it.
• Sorcerer: Let's take a look inside. Come on. Minions, grab Tomas for me.
• Fire Minion: Yes master.
• Ice Minion: I got it.
• Red: Here we go.

(Into the castle of the calamity room)

• Sorcerer: Ah, we got ourselves a new room.
• Red: It look the same as your old castle.
• Sorcerer: The darkness will rise again and the world will be ending.
• Fire Minion: Oh yeah, that's what i'm talking about.
• Tomas: Get me out of here.
• Ice Minion: No need to escape.
• Sorcerer: With Feather God's help, we will be able to destroy the rest of the worlds in peace. The end is almost near.
• Red: Give me a new staff.
• Sorcerer: *create a staff with his shard powers* Good. This will be yours my friend. You will be able to shoot on your enemies and defeat Mario and Spyro.
• Red: Thank you. It look powerful than the old one i have 10 years ago.
• Tomas: And me? Am I to play a role in this madness?
• Sorcerer: You have the most important role of all.
• Tomas: I won't join on your side. You destroyed our world and now you're going to destroy more worlds like you did with the Dragon Realms?
• Sorcerer: Yes. I can easily do that. Destroy more worlds.
• Fire Minion: And burn them in the flames!
• Ice Minion: Ho, ho, ho.
• Sorcerer: Deep into the Earth. Rip everything they built from the ground. Wipe clean this world. And we will lead those that survived. Into to a better one.
• Tomas: I thought we don't live here.
• Sorcerer: These koopas used to participle in these wars and destroyed theirs several years ago. Look like i have a favor for you to make.

(Tomas was placed on a throne chair)

• Tomas: What is this chair for?
• Sorcerer: *trap Tomas from the hands and feet*
• Tomas: Hey! I don't need my teeth to be clean.
• Sorcerer: You will make a announcement to everyone. You will warn everyone that i am here to destroy a planet. We will travel across the universe to destroy the planets in the galaxy.
• Tomas: But we're not in the Dragon Kingdom anymore.
• Sorcerer: You don't need a place... to amplify your powers. You have me.
• Tomas: I don't need you!
• Red: Make sure you get everyone's senses from the heroes of the Mushroom Kingdom. Especially Mario and Spyro.
• Sorcerer: Feather God, can you hear me?
• Feather God: *appear as a blue firey spirit* Well yes. Is there anything to make.
• Sorcerer: Control me while i control Tomas. We will make this announcement to put an end to the planet.
• Feather God: Ah yes. It's about time. A new evil is rising. Mankind will be destroyed.
• Fire Minion: Oh yeah.
• Ice Minion: Let's do it.
• Tomas: No, no!
• Feather God: *control Sorcerer*
• Sorcerer: I'll say these words and you say them back to the world.
• Tomas: Yes master, i agree.
• Red: It's working.
• Sorcerer: Now start.
• Feather God: Okay then.
• Sorcerer: Hear me, inhabitants of this world.
• Tomas: Hear me, inhabitants of this world.

(Back at Bowser's castle, Mario and his gang are hearing a sense from Tomas' message from Sorcerer)

• Spyro: What was that?
• Tomas: *in sense* This is a message.
• Mario: It's Elder Tomas.
• Tomas: *in sense* A message to every man, woman and creature.
• Spyro: It can't be him. Someone is controlling him.
• Vivian: It's the Sorcerer.
• Agent 9: Not that evil hooded guy again.

(Back at the Sorcerer's castle in the Ruined Kingdom)

• Sorcerer: You have lost your way.
• Tomas: You have lost your way.
• Sorcerer: But I have arrived.
• Tomas: But I have arrived. The day of reckoning, it is here. All your buildings, all your towers and temples will fall. The dawn of a new era will emerge. For there is nothing you can do to stop what is coming.

(The people of the Mushroom Kingdom were hearing the message from Tomas and from all over the world including New Donk City, Rogueport, Yoshi's Island, Isle Delfino and Diamond City)

• Sorcerer: To tell the strongest among you... Those with the greatest power. This earth will be yours.
• Tomas: Those with the greatest power. Protect those without. That's my message to the world.
• Sorcerer: You were meant to say the earth is yours.
• Feather God: But he's not saying the last line. Look like i will have to destroy this universe myself.
• Red: No master. We can try again.
• Tomas: No! Wait! We can summon the shadow minions. No, that's not right.
• Feather God: Correct! The shadow minions.
• Tomas: No! It is a mistake!
• Sorcerer: Silence! You asked to bring the shadow minions in.
• Tomas: I deny it.
• Red: Too late. All the portals have been set up from the castle. These shadow minions will come to invade the planet. The universe will be in danger after all.
• Tomas: No! No! Get me out of this seat.
• Sorcerer: Look like we need to divide our powers. With your sense, i will sense all over the omniverse to destroy everything the heroes have.
• Tomas: You destroyed my staff, you destroyed my world and i have nothing left to lose.
• Red: This is the end of the line now. We only have a few hours before the takeover.
• Tomas: I shouldn't warn everyone in the first place. Now i'm stuck in some castle, looking like from the Shadow Realm.
• Sorcerer: I cannot wait for the Shadow Realm to merge with the Mushroom Kingdom.

(Back at Bowser's Castle in Mario's gang's prison cell)

• Spyro: Man, we really need to get out of this.
• Cynder: We don't have any hope left. We're running out of time.
• Tomas: *sense in Cynder's mind* Cynder, if you can hear me, focus on my voice. Mario. Find us. Luigi, find us. Spyro. Find us. Cynder.
• Cynder: Tomas?!
• Mario: I hear his voice.
• Spyro: He's stuck in some chair. I can sense him.
• Koopatrol #1: What is that voice?
• Koopatrol #2: Who are you talking to?
• Vivian: I don't know.
• Spyro: It's Master Tomas.
• Birdo: We don't know.
• Boshi: We don't know, bro.
• Cynder: He just spoke to me.
• Yoshi: I think he spoke to everyone.
• Sheila:  I can hear him too.
• Cynder: No, no. He just sent me a hidden message. One he knew only I would hear. I know where they are.
• Donkey Kong: Get us out! The world is in danger.
• Koopatrol #3: No! The world is in danger and we're proud of it.
• Mario: You don't get it. A evil dragon just came to our world and he's going to take over the planet anytime sooner. You have to release us now.
• Koopatrol #1: No. That's final. We also capture the princess as well.
• Mario: You did what?!
• Koopatrol #2: Well, we shouldn't said it.
• Mario: *fire blast on the cage and the koopatrols*
• Luigi: Whoa.
• Spyro: How did you do that?
• Mario: Our powers work.
• Spyro: Oh yeah, let's get the heck out of here.
• Luigi: Come on, the princess has to be somewhere.
• Sheila: *hold Luigi* At least, you have me.
• Luigi: Hey.
• Cynder: Guys, to the right!
• Donkey Kong: Let's kick some banana slamma!

(Back at Bowser's throne room)

• Bowser: Ah yeah, the Bob-ombs are ready to blow up the heroes.
• Koopatrol #4: Bowser! The heroes are escaping!
• Bowser: What?

(Back in the hallway of Bowser's castle, Mario charge a fire blast on the koopatrols)

• Mario: We're breaking out of here.
• Spyro: *fire breath on the dry bones*
• Sheila: *kick the Goombas off* Get out of here you baby mushrooms.
• Luigi: *stomp on the goomba* Ha!
• Mario: Oh yeah.
• Agent 9: *punch on the goombas* Let's get our weapons back.
• Mario: Over here.

(In the weapon room)

• Bentley: My club!
• Agent 9: My shooter blasters.
• Mario: How many weapons do they have?
• Luigi: So many guns. I wonder why Bowser keep them in secret.
• Spyro: Guys, we have more enemies incoming. We have to go now. Grab what you need.
• Cynder: Fine Spyro, let's do this together.
• Spyro: *thunder blast on the Koopatrols*
• Cynder: Everyone this way!
• Sheila: Wee haw!
• Sgt. James Byrd: Don't worry jet pack, you're going to be safe and sound with me.

(In the hallway, the heroes fight against the koopas and goomba)

• Yoshi: *swallow the goomba and spit the goomba out*
• Birdo: *shoot egg bombs at the koopas*
• Boshi: *dash and punch the goombas* Ah ha.
• Luigi: *thunder shock on the koopas*
• Bentley: *smash the goombas*
• Mario: Okay. I know where Bowser is.
• Luigi: The throne room!
• Mario: That's it.

(Back at the throne room of Bowser's Castle)

• Bowser: No. It can't be happening.
• Kamek: They're escaping.
• Bowser: They can't escape to just steal my princess. It's not gonna happen at all!
• Kammy: Do you have a better plan?
• Bowser: Yes. I still have the sonic blast machines with me.
• Bowser Jr.: Oh boy, i can't wait.
• Peach: Pass.
• Bowser: Here we go. Come on, come on.
• Mario: *break the door*
• Bowser: Mario.
• Mario: Bowser.
• Bowser: Breaking out of jail, huh?
• Spyro: You're not going anywhere.
• Bowser: Looking for her?
• Mario: Princess Peach!
• Peach: Mario.
• Bowser Jr.: Stop right there and leave my mama alone.
• Mario: Princess Peach will never be your mama. *thunder shock on Bowser Jr.* Never!
• Bowser Jr.: Ow.
• Bowser: Hey!
• Kamek: Stop them!
• Mario: *fight Bowser*
• Spyro: *charge at Kamek*
• Kamek: Ow!
• Spyro: Don't worry my lady, we're getting you out of here.
• Peach: Ooh, thank you very much.
• Spyro: *scratch the cage* Nailed it.
• Flame: That was awkward!
• Bowser Jr.: Daddy! They're stealing the princess.
• Bowser: What?
• Mario: *punch Bowser to the wall* I got you.
• Spyro: Go, go, go. We have to go.
• Peach: *escape the cage* Ok.
• Spyro: Guys, go find a place to escape. Me and Mario are going to deal with the Koopas.
• Luigi: Wait, we can't leave you all alone.
• Sparx: What about me?
• Spyro: Sparx, stay with the others.
• Sparx: Fine. See you later.
• Spyro: *electric breath on Kammy*
• Kammy: Ow.
• Spyro: Nice try old lady.
• Kamek: You called my mother WHAT?
• Spyro: *electric breath on Kamek* Spicy
• Kamek: Aw man.
• Mario: *smash the wall from Bowser* Stay here.
• Bowser: *grab Mario and drop him to the ground*
• Mario: Ow.
• Spyro: Hey, stop that now.
• Bowser: Come over here dragon. I'm going to teach you a lesson from last time.
• Spyro: Well, you're sorry for it! *fire breath on Bowser*
• Bowser: Hey. You breath fire?
• Spyro: I'm a dragon you dork.
• Bowser: Come on.
• Spyro: *electric punch on Bowser*

• Spyro: Woo hoo, face me now.
