Scooby-Doo! and Super Mario: Superstar Mystery (Chapter 1)

Chapter 1 is the first chapter of Scooby-Doo! and Super Mario: Superstar Mystery written by MarioFan65.

This chapter is called "The Mystery Pipe".

Plot

(At night on the spooky road, we see a Mystery Inc. van riding with four adults with a great dane dog inside. The van's driver Fred is driving the van on the road.)

• Fred: Okay Mystery Crew, we're on our way to the open road.
• Daphne: Fun never stop the beat.
• Velma: There are no more ghosts and monsters to track down. Right Boys?
• Shaggy: No ghosts can stop into our hearts.
• Scooby-Doo: Reah. It make me feel so good.
• Velma: No need to search for clues this time.
• Daphne: Is it me or we're going on a road trip?
• Fred: It doesn't have to be a road trip. We're traveling around the world.
• Shaggy: We're traveling? Like what? Kansas?
• Scooby-Doo: The wild west?
• Fred: You guys will see it for yourselves when we get into the place.
• Shaggy: Me and Scoob are so hungry for the big buffet. I can't wait to starve on all the foods.
• Scooby-Doo: I'll have a shake and a sandwich.
• Shaggy: Ooh, a sandwich with gummy worms and cookie dough on it.
• Fred: Didn't you have that sandwich a few years ago?
• Shaggy: Yeah. That's when me and Scoob are having a big breakfast.
• Scooby-Doo: I love my sandwich with dog food on it.
• Fred: Ooh, very nice. You'll like more of the food stuff when we arrive on a buffet.
• Velma: I hope they sell rice and beans shaped as a pyramid.
• Daphne: That food style gave me the jeepers.
• Velma: Why do you have to be so jeep about it?
• Daphne: I used to get scared of bee hives when i was a kid.
• Velma: There was this one guy at school who hated pasta and said they all look like fake bee hives, even with the macaroni-type meals.
• Daphne: Girl, he was harsh on the pasta types.
• Shaggy: It's like when people complain about fruits on their pizza.
• Velma: That's actually for the pineapple pieces that people get offended on.
• Shaggy: Who doesn't like pineapple on their pizza?
• Fred: Nope.
• Daphne: Not a chance.
• Scooby-Doo: Ruh uh.
• Shaggy: I guess no one like pineapple apple, am i right?
• Fred: Everyone have a opinion on different types of pizza.
• Velma: Seaweed pizza is one example on why kids would be disgusted on that green seaweed covering up the cheese and tomato sauce.
• Shaggy: Kids are going to feel disgusted by those foods early until they grow up and started loving them.
• Velma: I'm pretty sure no one have changed their opinions on broccoli.
• Daphne: Broccoli? Blah, i hate that vegetable.
• Velma: Told you. That never gonna change.
• Fred: We're about to arrive from a hole.
• Daphne: It seem optimistic on the outside.
• Velma: According to my radar, there's a pipe on the highway.
• Fred: Which means, we're going through a pipe on the inside.
• Shaggy: On the inside?
• Scooby-Doo: No way.
• Fred: Here goes for nothing.

(The van ride through a green warp pipe, going through a hole)

• Shaggy: Where the light? Where are we heading?
• Fred: We just went through the inside of the pipe.
• Velma: That is like the biggest pipe i've ever seen.
• Daphne: How long is the pipe?
• Fred: I never seen that long of a pipe, even for a bigger size.
• Shaggy: It's big as a hole for the train ride to go on the rails.
• Scooby-Doo: I got a really bad feeling about this.
• Shaggy: The line is pointing to the arrow on where we're going.
• Daphne: It's like going through a futuristic city.
• Velma: I feel like we're going to be warped to another world.
• Fred: How come?
• Shaggy: Velma is right, we're really warping to another world.
• Scooby-Doo: Ruh roh.
• Velma: What did i do?
• Daphne: Hold on.
• Fred: It might get bumpy on the outside.
• Velma: There goes for nothing!
• Shaggy: Zoinks!
• Daphne: We're gonna warp!

(The van suddenly warp to another world in the woods. Goombas are seen walking into the woods while the van is driving.)

• Fred: Whoa. That was close.
• Shaggy: That was very strange for a road stop.
• Velma: We're in some kind of forest. I see mushrooms walking.
• Daphne: What are those creatures?
• Shaggy: They look like mushrooms.
• Scooby-Doo: And they walk!
• Daphne: Plus, they got eyes and teeth in their faces.
• Shaggy: Zoinks! They look very scary.
• Scooby-Doo: They look like little monsters.
• Fred: Maybe the place isn't so bad after all. We'll just look around.

(The gang explore through the woods with their van, seeing a group of Goombas all over the grass)

• Velma: Wow. That's a whole lot of mushrooms.
• Daphne: Look. The babies are with their mommies. *see a micro goomba walk with a giant goomba*
• Shaggy: Maybe it's not bad after all after coming here.
• Fred: Even worse, look what we discover.

(A giant piranha plant rise up, roaring at all the Goombas and the Mystery Gang)

• Shaggy: It's a piranha flower monster!
• Velma: Turn back!
• Fred: Let's make a move to go! *drive faster*
• Daphne: How long the monster is getting further?
• Fred: We need to find the pipe. Where is the pipe?
• Daphne: Ugh. Now you don't even remember.
• Fred: Which way should i go?
• Velma: You lost the road.
• Shaggy: I wanna get out of here. I don't wanna be in this monster world anymore. *spin the steering wheel*
• Fred: Shaggy no!

(The van spins around as the van ended up crashing into the mud, sticking right where it's stuck as the van is unable to move)

• Shaggy: Jeez, we're safe.
• Daphne: It's your fault Shaggy.
• Velma: Look what you got us into. Trouble.
• Shaggy: I'm sorry. We should have use a regular map to get us out of here.
• Fred: Another day in another life. A New Year resolution to just screw us up on the first day.
• Scooby-Doo: What do we do?
• Fred: We need to get out of here. Don't worry. The van is not going to sink down as a sandpit.

(The Mystery Gang get off the van from the mud safety)

• Shaggy: Jeez, now we're stuck in another world.
• Velma: What are we gonna do?
• Fred: We need to find some help. Maybe the people can help us to find the pipe and return home safety.
• Daphne: That'll be good.
• Scooby-Doo: I miss home.
• Velma: We're going to have to walk all the way out of the woods.
• Fred: Here we go again with another adventure with our hands.

(The story start off with a 16-bit intro with "On the Case" by The Slow Downs playing. Mario and Luigi are running on the plains while jumping on Koopas and kicking the shells into the Goombas. Scooby-Doo and the Mystery Gang look around in the haunted mansion as they encounter a ghost flying all over the place, scaring Scooby-Doo and Shaggy out. Mario and Luigi run around the castle, fighting over Koopas, Goombas and Koopatrols all over the place. The Mystery Gang encounter Space Kook in the haunted woods as Space Kook shoot lasers with the gang dodging them with Fred knocking Space Kook over. The van warp through a warp pipe and meet Mario and Luigi there. They run around the mansion as they meet up with King Boo. They fight the Boos all over the mansion with Luigi using his Poltergust 5000 to suck King Boo away. After the mission, they perform on stage with the Hex Girls rocking on the stage with cheering Toads in the audience seats. Mario and Luigi jump by hitting ? Blocks in the sky with fireworks blasting all over the stars with the tite card showing up.)

SUPERSTAR MYSTERY

(In the morning after midnight, a flying Paratroopa mail delivering guy fly over to Mario and Luigi's house by putting the letter on the mail)

• Parakarry: One, two, three. The right address. Mail call!
• Mario: *open the door and yawn* Is it-a morning already?
• Parakarry: Good morning Mario. I hope you didn't ate a lot of pasta last night on New Year's.
• Mario: First day of the new year. 2019.
• Parakarry: I knew you're going to make a new jump-start on your resolution. I got a lot of letters to deliver all over the world.
• Mario: Tell Luigi i say hello.
• Parakarry: Huh? I was suppose to say that. You got confused about that quote, didn't you?
• Mario: Sorry about that. I thought i was going to leave.
• Parakarry: Good for well. Oh well, i must deliver a letter at Twilight Town. It's going to be a long ride from home. See you later plumber.
• Mario: See ya.
• Parakarry: *fly in the sky* Off i go!
• Mario: Mama mia. What a good day.
• Luigi: Who was that in the sky?
• Mario: Oh. It's Parakarry. Our old friend from the post office.
• Luigi: A flying Paratroopa delivering letters and packages. Unique.
• Mario: Let's go have some breakfast.
• Luigi: As long i say yes.
• Mario: Yes.

(Mario and Luigi prepare breakfast at the kitchen. They prepare eggs, bacon and bread by serving them on the plates.)

• Mario: Breakfast is served.
• Luigi: The perfect meal in town.
• Mario: Let's a eat.
• Luigi: Alright. *eat the food* Yummy.
• Mario: *eat the food* Mmm, tasty.
• Luigi: I love it.
• Mario: It's not bad as it sounds.
• Luigi: One meal a day. For breakfast.
• Mario: Nothing can top the bagels on a high morning.
• Luigi: Or is it a doughnut?
• Mario: I would love to make a chili dog for lunch later on.
• Luigi: Or how about a pizza taco?
• Mario: A taco pizza is worthy enough to cook.
• Luigi: It's like eating the nachos all sticking together with cheese and the tomato sauce.
• Toad: *show up in a hurry* Mario!
• Mario: Whoa. I forgot to close the door!
• Luigi: Toad, what do you want? Can't you see that we're eating.
• Toad: The strangers! The strangers are at the woods!
• Mario: Strangers? No one talks about strangers.
• Luigi: Don't go near them if you don't know anyone.
• Toad: I'm warning you. They're at the Acorn Plains right now. They even got a dog in their side.
• Luigi: Now they're at Acorn Plains? You said they're at the woods where the Goomba Village is.
• Mario: You said there's strangers with a dog on their side. They don't look like outcasts to me.
• Toad: I'm telling you. They could be a threat on the Mushroom Kingdom.
• Mario: Just leave them alone and go hang out at Peach's or something.
• Toad: I feel like we're being threated.
• Luigi: You know what? We're not going to have this talk with you. We're just going to hang out in the woods and that's it.
• Toad: Oh fine. Then i'm not serving you any mushroom soup! Hmm!
• Mario: Let's a go Luigi. We're walking to the park.
• Luigi: We need a good morning walk at the woods.
• Mario: Have a nice day Toad.
• Toad: Whatever. I don't trust far-walkers coming into new places they never been to.

(At the Acorn Plains, the Mystery Gang is walking around the woods, looking at the trees and seeing big crystal rocks on the ground)

• Shaggy: Oh look, check this out. A series of crystal sharp rocks on the ground.
• Velma: Wow, what a unique look.
• Fred: We still gotta find that pipe somewhere.
• Shaggy: I keep dreaming that there's a bunch of floating marshmallows on the way.
• Scooby-Doo: *sniff on the ground*
• Daphne: We still need to find help. We can find a auto mechanic to help us pull the van over and we'll return home to safety.
• Fred: Once we pull the van up, we'll check and see if it broken or not. We might need to fix it before we can go.
• Shaggy: Jeez, i'm hungry. We been looking for hours.
• Scooby-Doo: No food, no home.
• Velma: Ugh. We didn't get enough sleep last night since we were traveling.
• Fred: Oh god. We still can't find a place to sleep at.
• Daphne: Are we going to be stuck here for the rest of our lives?!

(A giant Petey Piranha jump in, close to the Mystery Gang as they look at Petey Piranha as the giant beast roar at them)

• Shaggy: Zoinks! It's a flower beast!
• Scooby-Doo: Run!
• Daphne: Let's get out of here!
• Fred: Right in!
• Petey Piranha: *roar and chase the Mystery Gang*
• Velma: It's a dangerous world out there!
• Fred: We shouldn't come here in the first place!
• Shaggy: Like groovy, but still in a bad way of a single monster chase.
• Scooby-Doo: I wanna go home!
• Fred: Don't worry Scooby, we'll get home once we find help.
• Velma: In the meantime, don't get eaten by the teeth of a single plant monster!
• Petey Piranha: *roar*

(Mario and Luigi are seen walking in the Acorn Plains on the cliff forest side)

• Mario: Mama mia, it's a sight of a beautiful day.
• Luigi: After that big breakfast, we need to get ourselves a new year walk.
• Mario: Oh boy, i never get tired of eating bacon strips.
• Luigi: We should made ham strips. You know, like the bacon, but with a cut piece of ham.
• Mario: Can a cheese strip work?
• Luigi: Nah. It just burn like cooking onions.
• Mario: Onions make me cry when like the Magikoopas capture me as a baby.
• Luigi: So does me. You're not the only one.
• Mario: *hear the sound of the Mystery Gang running* Luigi, did you hear that?
• Luigi: Uh, no. I don't have a earthworm on my ear. Not in a mood.
• Mario: *open the bush and see the Mystery Gang running from Petey Piranha* Mama mia, Toad is right!
• Luigi: Oh god, they're getting chased by that Petey Piranha. Why didn't Toad tell us more about the strangers?
• Mario: They got a dog on their side. We need to help-a them.
• Luigi: Let's go save the teens and their precious dog.

(The Mystery Gang is still getting chased by Petey Piranha)

• Fred: I don't know how much longer the chase is going to last. But it's like taking forever to get us home!
• Scooby-Doo: We're roomed!
• Mario: *arrive and stomp on Petey Piranha*
• Petey Piranha: *growls*
• Mario: *land down*
• Luigi: *fire punch on Petey Piranha*
• Petey: *move back after his hit*
• Shaggy: Whoa, what's going on?
• Scooby-Doo: Raggy, look!
• Mario: *look at the Mystery Gang*
• Fred: Hey there. Do you want where the pipe is?
• Petey Piranha: *roar at the gang*
• Velma: That is one scary monster. Stand back.
• Mario: Don't worry, we'll-a handle this ourselves.
• Shaggy: Oh thank you so much midgets. I guess we're saved from that big plant monster from chasing all the way to the spot.
• Luigi: Here we go! *run and jump to punch on Petey Piranha*
• Petey Piranha: *roar*
• Mario: Fire! *fireball at Petey Piranha*
• Petey Piranha: *head bump on the fireball*
• Mario: Whoa! *dodge the fireball as it hit on a Goomba*
• Luigi: Fire blast! *fire blast at Petey Piranha*
• Petey Piranha: *roar in pain*
• Daphne: Go go go!
• Fred: You can do it!
• Velma: Don't forget to take the mask off their costume.
• Mario: A mask? What mask?
• Petey Piranha: *fly over to Mario*
• Mario: Oh no!
• Luigi: Mario! *think* Thunder strike! *thunder strike on Petey Piranha*
• Petey Piranha: *crash into the ground as Mario jump and smash his belly button* Stay down! You're defeated.
• Shaggy: Thank heavens, we're saved.
• Scooby-Doo: *howl*
• Mario: Oh yeah, i did it.
• Luigi: No. We did it together.
• Mario: I was the one that punch the beast back.
• Luigi: I just shot him with my thunder powers.
• Fred: How did you shot him with one of your fingers?
• Luigi: My right hand shot him where the thunder would be hitting.
• Mario: Where are you guys heading?
• Shaggy: Uh? Nowhere? He he he, just hanging out in the woods.
• Velma: We need to find a place to sleep in.
• Mario: A place to sleep in? Why not rent a room in the hotel or stay back at our house.
• Fred: No no. We're not fond into sleeping into people homes.
• Mario: That's a okay by me.
• Velma: So, who are you. What's your name? Hmm, let me see. Liam? Marty?
• Mario: I'm Mario.
• Luigi: I'm Luigi.
• Velma: Oh cool. I'm Velma. This is Fred, Daphne, Shaggy and our favorite dog, Scooby-Doo.
• Scooby-Doo: That's me alright.
• Luigi: Ooh, what is he? A boxer? A golden retriever?
• Velma: He's suppose to look like a great dane dog. Scoob, show them what their names again.
• Scooby-Doo: Rario and Ruigi?
• Mario: What? I have a M on my hat.
• Luigi: How can we start a name with a R if we have our first letters on the top of the caps?
• Shaggy: Scooby just pronounce the words with a R. That's how he speaks in full sentence.
• Scooby-Doo: Raggy is right.
• Mario: Oh, cool. Where are you guys still heading? To the castle?
• Fred: You own a castle?
• Luigi: We got ourselves a castle. Well, it's for the princess.
• Daphne: There is a princess on the castle?
• Mario: Oh yes. I would love for all of you guys to meet Princess Peach.
• Shaggy: We're going to see the princess of all peaches? Man, i would rather see a princess of all Scooby Snacks so we can eat all the Scooby Snacks all day long.
• Luigi: That's her name, don't you get it?
• Scooby-Doo: We haven't heard about it.
• Mario: Follow me to the castle.
• Fred: Oh boy, we're going to get greeted.
• Daphne: I wonder what the castle is like.

(Inside of Princess Peach's castle, the Toad guards blow their horns as the princess came into the throne chair with Toad, Toadette and Toadsworth walking with the princess)

• Toad Guard #1: Good morning Princess Peach.
• Peach: Good morning my guardians.
• Toad Guard #2: New year, new faces, new challenges.
• Toad: We're just getting started.
• Toadsworth: Any day now, we'll serve some breads for breakfast.
• Toadette: I want the Super Crown.
• Toadsworth: Nah, we keep it for display.
• Toadette: Hey. That was like my favorite power up.
• Toadsworth: You use it again someday.
• Toadette: I'll use a mini mushroom instead.

(Mario, Luigi and the Mystery Gang arrive to the castle to see the princess)

• Mario: Hello Princess Peach.
• Peach: Oh, hey. Welcome far-walkers from another land.
• Toad: Oh no! The strangers are here! I was right all over!
• Shaggy: Oh look, a princess.
• Scooby-Doo: She's better.
• Fred: Well, hello. *look into the eyes of Peach as "Let's Get It On" by Marvin Gaye play in his mind, looking at Peach in that way*
• Peach: *spin her hair slowly as she look into the eyes of Fred*
• Fred: *still look at Peach as Daphne distract him*
• Daphne: Fred!
• Fred: Oh, whoa. Well hello there. I am Fred. This is Daphne and Velma.
• Velma: We also got Scooby and Shaggy on our side.
• Shaggy: I love to eat fried eggs with bacon.
• Scooby-Doo: And nachos.
• Toadsworth: What kind of dog do you bring?
• Daphne: He is a great dane dog.
• Scooby-Doo: Scooby-Dooby Doo!
• Toad: I don't trust these far-walkers.
• Peach: Hail to the princess.
• Toadsworth: Bow down like you're bowing to the chief.
• Everyone: *bow down to Princess Peach*
• Mario: At your service Princess Peach.
• Peach: Thank you very much. I love all of you guys. You guys are new here. Where are you coming from?
• Fred: It was December 31st 2018. It was New Year's and we were traveling all over the world. Going from California to Texas.
• Velma: It was bit of a long ride.
• Fred: We then went to the woods of Coolsville where we grew up together in school. Suddenly, we went through the express way by using a pipe and took us right into your world.
• Mario: You went through a warp pipe?
• Peach: Where? I wasn't there for you.
• Shaggy: We kinda lost it. I was in a bit in a hurry because, we don't wanna miss the big ball drop on TV when New York City is having there's.
• Velma: Ugh, we miss it Shaggy. You even got the van stuck on the mud!
• Shaggy: I'm sorry. I should have been driving when we left that buffet place.
• Peach: Are you interested on staying here for a while?
• Velma: No. We need to get out as soon as possible.
• Shaggy: We need the van back.
• Peach: Okay. I can get someone to help. Maybe i'll ask Captain Toad to help you guys get the van back.
• Captain Toad: *show up on the door* Did someone just said my name?!
• Mario and Luigi: Captain Toad!
• Captain Toad: Oh hello. I'm ready for another adventure.
• Peach: I was going to call you up until you show up.
• Captain Toad: Thanks a bunch. Oh, we got new people. Amazing. Are you going to sign up for my latest adventure in the Dry Dry Ruins?
• Fred: No. We just need the van back?
• Captain Toad: Didn't you like park your van next to the castle?
• Daphne: We crashed right into the mud and we somehow can't pick it back up. Can you help us get our van back?
• Captain Toad: Oh sure. Why didn't you say so? I'll grab my latest helpers to follow you and pick up the van where you left off.
• Velma: I have the whole map of the world on my radar. The arrow is pointing where the van is located in.
• Captain Toad: Cool. You'll just show us where the van is stuck to.
• Peach: I'll follow along where your precious van is. You too guys come along.
• Toad: Ugh. I can sense a trap in my brain.
• Toadsworth: You'll worry like you're late for work.
• Toadette: Always ready to help with my idol.
• Captain Toad: Let's go my friends.
• Shaggy: Jeez, this mushroom is everybody's friends.
• Scooby-Doo: So do we.

(The gang arrive back to the spot in the forest where the van is stuck into the mud as Mario and Luigi got their builder clothes on)

• Mario: So this is where you crashed.
• Shaggy: Yes. It been a long story.
• Scooby-Doo: My Scooby Snacks are safe!
• Daphne: All of our stuff is safe. I hope there's no mud involved.
• Peach: Pull over the van.
• Captain Toad: Let's pull it to the grass.
• Everyone: *use the rope to get the van out of the mud*
• Velma: Perfect.
• Fred: We're in good shape.
• Shaggy: Like groovy, but better.
• Scooby-Doo: I can dream about you.
• Peach: Ooh, you got a unique design.
• Fred: But it can get any better without the mud.
• Mario: We need a hose.
• Luigi: Ooh, i know. *grab a blue baby Yoshi as the blue baby Yoshi splash water all over the van*
• Daphne: Oh my god.
• Velma: That is so amazing.
• Shaggy: How can it do that by splashing water?
• Luigi: You know. These baby Yoshis have unique powers. This one can splash water by it's body when it drink a lot to water to get hydrated.
• Shaggy: That's great man. I'm getting flashbacks to all the water parks we go when they splash water on you.
• Daphne: Great. Now we can go home safety and get some rest.
• Fred: The mystery is finally over.
• Mario: Are you sure we got a mystery in our hands?
• Fred: Nope. It's for us.
• Luigi: Now, how did you warp into the warp pipe?
• Fred: Follow us and we'll explain.
• Peach: We'll follow you there. But drive safety.
• Fred: We will.
• Velma: As long there are no bumps or falling rocks on the way.

(The Mystery Gang drive the van as Mario's group follow them on where they going. The Mystery Gang arrive back into the road side of the woods.)

• Fred: This is the same area from yesterday.
• Velma: It feel like we're going backwards.
• Shaggy: We're going back at last!
• Scooby-Doo: Almost home sweet almost home!
• Daphne: Thank god. We're going home.
• Fred: Yeah. In about five seconds, we'll get out of this world to safety.
• Shaggy: Yay! Home is where the heart is!
• Scooby-Doo: *howl*
• Velma: Oh no. Stop!
• Fred: What the? *stop the van as he realize the pipe disappear* Uh oh, we must have drive on the wrong way.
• Daphne: It was there. Now it's gone.
• Fred: How is that possible? It was suppose to be there where we just warped.
• Shaggy: Does that mean we're stuck?!
• Scooby-Doo: Ruh roh.
• Fred: The bad news is that we're stuck in the whole universe.
• Shaggy: What? No more pizza? No more ice cream? And no more Scooby Snacks for the rest of our lives?
• Velma: You'll probably like it more than the real-world.
• Shaggy: No! This can't be happening.
• Scooby-Doo: We're doomed.
• Daphne: How do we pay our taxes on time?
• Scooby-Doo and Shaggy: *hold together by crying*
• Velma: Ugh. I hate when they cry over bad things.
• Fred: Shoot. We should have never gone here in the first place. But man, that princess was hot.
• Daphne: Snap out of it Fred! We need Plan B.
• Fred: Plan B? How about we do Plan Z at the end of the day?
• Daphne: Ugh! That's so late!

(Mario's group show up to confront the Mystery Gang)

• Mario: Mama mia. That pipe doesn't exist.
• Luigi: Was it there before it disappear like every other pipe in the universe?
• Fred: We're stuck. Now my eyes are getting tired.
• Velma: We got ourselves into a lot of karma.
• Peach: Oh, that stinks for you.
• Shaggy: How did we get ourselves stuck into this world?
• Scooby-Doo: You blew it for yourself.
• Toadsworth: These days, you gotta get through your head.
• Toadette: I'm sorry that the warp pipe isn't there for you.
• Toad: Oh great. What now?
• Captain Toad: That pipe you mention doesn't exist.
• Fred: No. It was right there with the rock. How did it disappear on us?
• Daphne: We should have pull it up last night!
• Velma: We still gotta get some sleep.
• Luigi: Oh boy. We should have build a pipe over.
• Mario: But they didn't tell us where they live.
• Peach: You'll probably rest in our castle.
• Fred: Ooh, nice. I guess we'll stay for the day.
• Daphne: Our bodies need a little rest.
• Peach: Come back to the castle and i'll show you the rooms.
• Fred: Not a problem.

(Moments later, the Mystery Gang park their van close to the castle. The Mystery Gang take a look around the castle in one of the rooms.)

• Peach: This is the room area.
• Fred: Wow.
• Shaggy: It's like a hotel.
• Velma: How many rooms are there?
• Peach: We got two guest rooms and one masters' room.
• Daphne: Who is the master of this castle?
• Peach: That's me.
• Daphne: You're the master of the castle?
• Peach: I'm also a ruler of this kingdom.
• Velma: Where are we actually? The United Kingdom?
• Peach: This is the Mushroom Kingdom. You must be in my world.
• Fred: This is your world?
• Peach: We got so many kingdoms on this planet and not just one.
• Fred: Well i like it here.
• Shaggy: I hope we eat a lot of peaches when we come back from our nap.
• Peach: That's great for all of you guys and all my guests in the world.
• Scooby-Doo: Just like one.
• Velma: What rooms are we going to sleep in?
• Peach: I'll show you right now.
• Shaggy: Great timing with the first looks.

(Peach show the first guest room to the Mystery Gang)

• Peach: This is the first guest room. I hope you'll like it here.
• Shaggy: Oh wow.
• Daphne: Great room.
• Fred: This look nice.
• Scooby-Doo: Ah, they got pillows.
• Velma: I love this. We'll take this room as a whole.
• Peach: Um. I got two rooms for most of you guys to share.
• Velma: What?
• Daphne: So, do we have to like share a room together?
• Peach: Yes. That's part of the plan.
• Shaggy: Me and Scooby-Doo are going to share a room ourselves.
• Scooby-Doo: You guys take this room as a whole.
• Fred: We'll see you in a hour.
• Peach: Okay boys, i'll take you to your room. You guys take care.
• Fred: Thank you for the rooms.
• Peach: Sweet dreams.
• Velma: Sweet dreams? Or sweet nightmares.
• Fred: Velma.
• Velma: I was just messing with you.
• Fred: You wouldn't have mock her if she was here already.
• Daphne: She just left.
• Velma: Wow, that's a bit awkward.

(Peach show Scooby-Doo and Shaggy the last room they will be sleeping in)

• Peach: This is your own room.
• Shaggy: Wow. It look the same like the other one.
• Scooby-Doo: Rup rup rup.
• Peach: The bed is clean and ready for you guys to take a nap.
• Shaggy: Does this room has food?
• Peach: I'm sorry. The rooms don't offer you food. The food is only available at the fridge if you want to go grab a snack or something.
• Shaggy: Never mind. We'll be good by saving room for food for our stomachs.
• Peach: He he. I know you're excited to eat all the food from our castle.
• Scooby-Doo: That's for dinner.
• Shaggy: Me and Scoob are going to eat a big footlong sandwich by dinner.
• Peach: Ooh, that's nice of you.
• Scooby-Doo: Add in the gummy bears.
• Peach: What? You put all of that sweets on the sandwich?
• Shaggy: We use all the food types in our sandwiches. That's our style.
• Peach: Everyone is entitled to their styles nowadays. But i can respect that.
• Shaggy: Me and Scooby will take this room for the day.
• Scooby-Doo: I love it.
• Peach: I hope you take a great nap. See you in a while.
• Shaggy: And to you m'lady.
• Peach: He he. *leave the room*
• Shaggy: We got the whole room ourselves.
• Scooby-Doo: We love it!
• Shaggy: One room a day is worth another castle.

(Back with Daphne, Velma and Fred, they comment on how the room looks in the castle)

• Daphne: Great details and room setting.
• Velma: I'll say the mirror look nice.
• Fred: Great room for the castle. By the way, the princess was kinda hot.
• Velma: Fred, snap out of your mind.
• Fred: What? I was just making a comment about her.
• Daphne: If she was here, she would have freak out.
• Fred: Come on, i'm just trying to express my feelings.
• Velma: We're in another world. How are we going to do our jobs without you?
• Fred: I'm always driving the van. All the time.
• Daphne: I would be jealous of you if you and Peach were dating in the castle.
• Fred: I still have you.
• Daphne: Thank you.
• Velma: You know your actions.
• Fred: I'm the good guy.
• Velma: We still gotta get some sleep.
• Daphne: Velma is right.
• Fred: Oh well. Time to rest.
• Daphne: I can't believe you're sleeping with all of us.
• Velma: Lucky Fred.
• Fred: Must be the coins.

(Scooby-Doo and Shaggy relax on the bed in their own room on the castle)

• Shaggy: I feel like sleeping in the hotel.
• Scooby-Doo: We got what we got.
• Shaggy: Love the room so far.
• Scooby-Doo: I wish it was night.
• Shaggy: How come the rooms don't have any windows? Weird, huh?
• Scooby-Doo: I'm good with that.
• Shaggy: Ready to get some rest?
• Scooby-Doo: Yes. I'm ready to rest.
• Shaggy: Take a deep nap Scooby. Once we wake up, it will be different than it was before.
• Scooby-Doo: Sweet paws.
• Shaggy: Sweet dreams. *sleep*
• Scooby-Doo: Good day. *sleep*

(Mario and Luigi open the doors slowly in both rooms to check the Mystery Gang sleeping)

• Mario: Shh.
• Luigi: They're sleeping.
• Mario: Good point.
• Luigi: Now we can go and relax for the day.
• Mario: Maybe we'll hang out at Yoshi's Island.
• Luigi: I'd take it from here.
• Mario: Let's a go.
• Luigi: Here we go.

(Far away from Princess Peach's castle, we head over to a big building named The Last Resort. A lot of ghosts are flying all over the top floor as Hellen Gravely walk to King Boo in the throne chair.)

• Hellen: Hello King Boo. You must be enjoying the throne, are you?
• King Boo: Just sitting like ruling the world.
• Hellen: We got some fresh ideas.
• King Boo: We should do some tricking to the whole world. How about we scare some Toads?
• Hellen: I wouldn't be there if i were you. We should pick on Luigi and his friends for revenge.
• King Boo: Ho ho ho ho ho ho ho ho ho. I love it.
• Hellen: You know. Turning the place into a hotel then transformed into a nightmare? That was a close call.
• King Boo: If i get all my Boos together, we'll scare Luigi for the rest of his entire life.
• Hellen: We'll erase his friends' memories and bring them back here.
• King Boo: We'll repeat history by changing the world.
• Hellen: *pet King Boo* He he he, you're my best friend.
• King Boo: I'm fluffy as a pillow.
• Hellen: Polterkitty, come here.
• Polterkitty: *walk over to Hellen*
• Hellen: *carry Polterkitty on her shoulders* That's my cat.
• Polterkitty: Meow.
• King Boo: Is she some sort of cat?
• Hellen: Yes. As always.
• King Boo: Look at your ghosts, they seem to be having fun in the hotel.
• Hellen: I love my people.
• King Boo: So does me.
• Hellen: Alright. We need to erase the memories out of Luigi's friends so they can come here and set up a trap on the top floor.
• King Boo: I'll be waiting on that to happen.
• Hellen: If only i can crack a bunch of light bulbs on a pile of storage.
• King Boo: We need to recruit a bellhop to erase the memories of Luigi's friends.
• Hellen: Okay. I know who i can pick for the group. Stewart, come here.
• Stewart: Yes Hellen. You got a job for me?
• Hellen: Oh yes. I want you to go and erase all of Luigi's friends memories by tonight. You understand?
• Stewart: Yes ma'am. I'll erase every last one memory on the brain.
• Hellen: You know how to follow my orders.
• King Boo: Don't wake them up. When they go to sleep, you spread that memory wiper on them.
• Stewart: This is the first thing i'm gonna do on them.
• Hellen: You do that on Luigi also.
• Stewart: Luigi too? Fine, i'll erase his memory too as well.
• King Boo: When Luigi come back, he won't even remember us at all. *laugh with Hellen*
• Hellen: That's very funny. I hope they don't know where the hotel is.
• Stewart: We'll disguise it as a gold building like we did before.
• Hellen: Good. I'll be waiting to see them suffer to the pain of the rings of fire.
• King Boo: I will haunt down the Mushroom Kingdom for good. *evil laugh*

(Meanwhile at Yoshi's Island, Mario and Luigi arrive from using a warp pipe as they catch up with Yoshi eating the apples up from the tree)

• Mario: Hey Yoshi.
• Yoshi: Oh hi Mario and Luigi. I didn't see you there.
• Luigi: What's-a up?
• Yoshi: New year, new life.
• Mario: Don't get us wrong. We have a new life too.
• Yoshi: Oh really? I didn't see you move back to the island.
• Luigi: We're lucky to have a house on our coin, despite paying the bills with coins.
• Mario: Have we been paying our bills with coins?
• Luigi: Yes. We always have been doing this for so long.
• Yoshi: What's up?
• Mario: We have to tell you. We got special guests on Peach's castle.
• Peach: Guests? Who are they?
• Mario: I'll show you when they wake up.
• Luigi: I'm pretty sure their dog isn't going to bark as much as the other dogs.
• Yoshi: Whatever you say.
• Mario: They come from a company like Mystery Machine. What is it called again?
• Luigi: Mystery Inc.?
• Mario: Ah, Mystery Inc. Luigi, you are correct. They are from the Mystery Inc.
• Luigi: Told you i got my smarts on.
• Yoshi: You are one big cookie.
• Luigi: Don't you wanna be ya on Saturday's night.
• Yoshi: So, are we going to the castle or what?
• Mario: You always help along with the princess. We're going to the castle right away without waking the kids up, or teenagers. I don't know their ages.
• Luigi: So does me. Or the great dane dog.

(Mario, Luigi and Yoshi jump through a warp pipe back to Princess Peach's castle as they hang out in the living room, eating some bread rolls)

• Mario: Mmm, yummy bread rolls.
• Luigi: They're so good.
• Yoshi: And healthy.
• Mario: Hmm, it does like a cinnamon flavor, what do you think?
• Luigi: Taste like a garlic roll to me.
• Yoshi: My father used to complain about bread back then when we were having dinner. He hated the idea of having cheese on the bread in which is the concept of pizza.
• Mario: Ouch.
• Luigi: Who doesn't like cheese on their pizza?
• Yoshi: Easy doesn't stop from coming.
• Mario: Ha ha ha.
• Luigi: I'm telling you man. The early day catches the worm.
• Yoshi: I got your bagel on you.
• Mario: Told ya.

(Hours later, Daphne, Velma and Fred wake up after their long nap in their own castle room)

• Daphne: Oh gosh. What time it is?
• Velma: It's like noon or something.
• Fred: We got the hang of it.
• Daphne: Easy timing doesn't stop.
• Velma: Don't mess with perfection.
• Fred: How do you know?
• Velma: Just saying. Can't mess with the right choice.

(Scooby-Doo and Shaggy wake up from their own castle room on the bed)

• Scooby-Doo: I had a good night sleep.
• Shaggy: Hello Scooby, i hope we save some room for our lunches.
• Scooby-Doo: They better serve me some Scooby Snacks.
• Shaggy: I hope this place like Scooby Snacks.
• Daphne: *came to the room with Velma and Fred* Hey Scooby and Shaggy.
• Shaggy: Come on in you guys.
• Fred: We're not going to sit on the bed. We're here to pick you up.
• Shaggy: Oh, i thought we were going to have a conversation.
• Scooby-Doo: Raggy said so.
• Velma: I think the princess is waiting for us in the hallway.
• Shaggy: I bet she's excited to see us show some love and care.
• Scooby-Doo: He he he.

(Mario, Luigi and Yoshi are sitting on the sofas in the hallways as the Mystery Gang show up to see the boys)

• Daphne: Oh, i didn't know you guys were here.
• Mario: We are always here.
• Luigi: Yoshi, meet the Mystery Inc.
• Velma: Oh gosh, what kind of dog is that?
• Yoshi: I'm a Yoshi.
• Velma: A Yoshi?
• Fred: I thought it look like a giant lizard or a gecko.
• Scooby-Doo: I'll say a dinosaur.
• Peach: *show up* Oh my, you guys are awake.
• Fred: Yes we are. Today is going to be our day.
• Mario: Fun as it should be.
• Peach: What do you guys wanna do today?
• Shaggy; We should go to the mall.
• Luigi: I don't think we have a mall in our town.
• Shaggy: Darn.
• Velma: I know. How about a amusement park?
• Yoshi: Ooh, that's a great idea.
• Peach: I would love to go to a amusement park since it is new year's eve and we would like to go one.
• Daphne: Yeah. This is why we don't have to solve mysteries or find cases anymore.
• Velma: I'm calling it the hype train.
• Fred: We'll be ready to go.
• Mario: Baby Park is one of them. We should really go there.
• Shaggy: Baby Park? Nah, that's for babies. I wanna go to some real smooth amusement park like a water park.
• Scooby-Doo: Or a dog park.
• Peach: Baby Park is the only one we can go.
• Yoshi: Just Baby Park? That's it?
• Peach: Yes. That is what we planned for.
• Mario: Alright. All set. Let's a go.

(Mario and his friends get on their karts as the Mystery Gang get on their van)

• Mario: When do you want us to start?
• Toadsworth: Any time we wish.
• Fred: So guys, are we ready to go?
• Velma: Wait for it.
• Toad: I can't wait.
• Toadette: It's going to be a blast.
• Peach: Okay ladies and gentleman, we can go now.
• Fred: Alright. Let's roll.

(Mario's gang and the Mystery Gang started driving their karts over to Baby Park. The background song "Here Comes Summer" by Just For Laughs and Susanna Benn plays as the group arrives at Baby Park. Mario, Luigi and Yoshi ride on the bumper cars to bump each car out. Peach and the Toads took selfies together by the picture booth as Daphne, Velma and Fred ride on the roller coaster, screaming like they're having fun. Scooby-Doo and Shaggy ate a bunch of mini sandwiches on the table with some ketchup and mustard. Mario and Luigi throw darts on the targets as Yoshi keep throwing the most and win a high score of 2000. Toad, Toadette and Toadsworth ride on the Merry-Go-Round with Peach throwing flowers all over the sky to make them float. Yoshi ate a ice cream cone as Mario and Luigi play Whack-a-Goomba on the machine by hitting the most Goombas and getting a high score. The group ended up throwing baseballs at the balloons and win many prizes like a plush of a Koopa Troopa. At the end, they eat a bunch of steak sticks and potato chips at the big table. The background song end as the group left Baby Park, talking and laughing about all the fun they did at the park.)

• Shaggy: That was amazing.
• Mario: I almost went through a 9000.
• Velma: That roller coaster was crazy.
• Yoshi: The ice creams taste like blueberry and cotton candy mixed together.
• Scooby-Doo: I ate all the sandwiches.
• Yoshi: I almost forgot. There is a slush drink at the drink stand.
• Daphne: Taking selfies at the photo booth was one crazy ride.
• Fred: Never forget the moment when we went to the bumper cars.
• Shaggy: Hey. Me and Scooby bump those cars together.
• Velma: We went after you guys left.
• Toadsworth: I really enjoy the park with all of you guys.
• Toad: The roller coaster almost made me fall.
• Toadette: The mirror maze made me dizzy 'til the end.
• Toadsworth: Oh man. The merry-go-round almost make me wanna fall asleep.
• Peach: Is it getting late at night?
• Mario: Sun's down.
• Luigi: We got the Moon at least for now.
• Yoshi: Not 'til the sun come back in the morning.
• Shaggy: We should stay at a motel. It's dangerous to drive at night like we did yesterday.
• Velma: Shaggy's right. Let's just rent a room at a motel.
• Peach: I agree with you guys.
• Mario: Just to let you know when to find a good place to sleep for one night.
• Luigi: You know where we're going.

(At the motel, the gang look around at the whole place like taking a tour)

• Peach: Mama mia, there's so many rooms to go.
• Toad: Are we going to like take the whole place?
• Toadette: No. We need to get a room to sleep.
• Mario: We're just renting. Like every motel let you rent a room.
• Shaggy: I see. But how do we get a room?
• Peach: Just ask the guy to give you your keys.
• Fred: Hmm, interesting.

(Koops is seen working at the office of the motel as Mario and Shaggy's gang came along)

• Koops: Hey guys. It's almost night time. Get your keys or get out.
• Mario: Koops, it's you.
• Koops: Mario. Long time no see. It been a while since we were hanging out at Petalburg.
• Mario: How is your girlfriend doing?
• Koops: She's throwing a party on New Year's. And yet, i have to work all night. Here i am, missing out all the fun back home.
• Luigi: Don't worry Koops, you'll have fun when we get some.
• Scooby-Doo: Don't forget to try out the Scooby Snacks while you can.
• Koops: Scooby Snacks? Didn't the world made those yet in stores?
• Scooby-Doo: Uh, never mind.
• Peach: We need three keys for our rooms please.
• Yoshi: We'll keep the rooms clean.
• Koops: Here you go. Don't make any messes while i'm out. Do you understand?
• Mario: Yes.
• Koops: There you have it. Enjoy your rest. *give the keys to Mario*
• Mario: Thanks a bunch.
• Koops: I owe you pal. I'm going to grab myself a Shroom Shake after work.

(The gang split apart to have their own motel rooms for the night. Mario, Luigi and Yoshi have theirs as well.)

• Mario: Mama mia. We're rocking the rooms.
• Luigi: It even got a TV.
• Yoshi: My own hotel room even got a design like this.
• Mario: It ain't half bad.
• Luigi: That does it.

(Peach, Toad, Toadette and Toadsworth got their motel room as well)

• Peach: Oh boy. I'm going to have a great sleep in this bed.
• Toad: Always catch the night.
• Toadette: Cool clocks. It got numbers.
• Toadsworth: That's a alarm clock.
• Toadette: What's so cool about alarm clocks?
• Toadsworth: They ring whatever what time it is.
• Toadette: Oh.
• Peach: I hope we set up our time to sleep.
• Toadsworth: I'm getting real tired in here.

(The Mystery Gang then got their own motel room as well)

• Shaggy: Tonight's the night. We got a motel to sleep at.
• Velma: Thank god we get to sleep for more hours.
• Daphne: That's the beauty of it.
• Fred: I haven't been that tired since December 30, 2018.
• Scooby-Doo: *yawn* Every dog need a rest.
• Shaggy: Goodnight everyone. I hope we can go back home by tomorrow morning.
• Velma: Just in case a warp pipe open, we'll go back home and celebrate.
• Shaggy: Man, we even miss out on the fireworks.
• Daphne: Lucky, the world did get to record all the footage to make this news flash come true.
• Shaggy: We should have been there.
• Fred: I agree with you man.
• Scooby-Doo: Let's get some sleep and wake up 'til morning time.
• Velma: Alright. Good morning my friends.
• Daphne: Sweet dreams.
• Fred: This is going to be our year.
• Shaggy: The best year of our entire lives.
• Scooby-Doo: A Scooby-Dooby night for all of us.
• Everyone: *laugh*
