Super Mario Odyssey 2 is a 2020 3D platform game developed and published by Nintendo for Nintendo Switch and serves as sequel to 2017 game Super Mario Odyssey. This story follows Mario having been rejected by Princess Peach and been friend zoned by her decides to finally move on with his life and finally forget about her but Mario and Cappy are relaxing in Mushroom Kingdom when Bowser finally returns having been stranded on Moon Kingdom for quite sometime and also having been rejected by Princess Peach decides to steal all of the worlds Power Moons and drain the Mushroom World of it's entire energy this forces Mario and Cappy on a quest once again to stop Bowser but Luigi also joins them with his companion Hatty.

Plot

Mario has been friend zoned and rejected by Princess Peach and has decided to move on with his life and forget her and has moved into Odyssey with his companion and friend Cappy permanently and they are both relaxing outside of it in Mushroom Kingdom when all of a sudden Bowser appears who has been stranded on Moon Kingdom for sometime and having also been rejected by Peach finally decides to stop kidnapping her and comes up with a new scheme and has Broodals steal all of the worlds Power Moons and drain Mushroom World of it's entire energy with a powerful machine called Power Moon Eater. Mario and Cappy see Mushroom Kingdom covered in darkness and embark on a new quest to stop Bowser and Broodals and Luigi and his companion Hatty also join Mario and Cappy on there adventure.
