Super Mario Odyssey 2
Super Mario Odyssey 2 is a 2022 3D platform game developed and published by Nintendo for the Nintendo 4DS and serves as sequel to the 2017 game Super Mario Odyssey for the Nintendo Switch. This story follows Mario, having been rejected by Princess Peach and been friend zoned by her, deciding to finally move on with his life and finally forget about her.
Synopsis
Mario and Cappy are relaxing in Mushroom Kingdom when Bowser finally returns having been stranded on Moon Kingdom for quite sometime and also having been rejected by Princess Peach decides to steal all of the worlds' Power Moons and drain the Mushroom World of its entire energy. This forces Mario and Cappy on a quest once again to stop Bowser, but Luigi also joins them with his companion Hatty.

Plot
Mario has been friend zoned and rejected by Princess Peach and has decided to move on with his life and forget her and has moved into Odyssey with his companion and friend Cappy permanently and they are both relaxing outside of it in Mushroom Kingdom, when all of a sudden, Bowser appears, who has been stranded on Moon Kingdom for sometime and having also been rejected by Peach, finally deciding to stop kidnapping her and comes up with a new scheme and has Broodals steal all of the worlds Power Moons and drain Mushroom World of its entire energy with a powerful machine called the Power Moon Eater. Mario and Cappy see the Mushroom Kingdom covered in darkness and embark on a new quest to stop Bowser and the Broodals. Luigi and his companion Hatty also join Mario and Cappy on their adventure.
Mario, Cappy, Luigi and Hatty travel across the 15 kingdoms in the Odyssey and save them from being covered in darkness forever by collecting Power Moons and restoring the power of the kingdoms as Power Moons are a source of energy and fight off Bowser and Broodals along the way. Bowser eventually retreats to Darkwood Kingdom where Mario and Luigi finally defeat him and the Broodals there and destroy the Power Moon Eater and thus save the Mushroom World and as punishment for using the Broodals for his own means they send Bowser back in time and seal him in the past so he is no longer a threat to Mushroom World and vow to change their ways. Luigi gains his own Odyssey ship and he and Hatty depart for their own adventures, while Mario and Cappy decide to head back to Sarasaland when they hear news an alien called Tatanga, inspired by Bowser's exploits, kidnaps Princess Daisy and vows to marry her.
Bowser awakens in the past with some Power Moons in an 8-bit Mushroom Kingdom and realises the Broodals used the power of the Power Moons to send him back in time so he can create a brand new evil scheme and never turned against him and swears vengeance against Mario.

Toad's Mushroom Journey is a game in Super Mario Odyssey 2, where the player can play as Toad. The main objective of the game is to collect 20 mushrooms and avoid all poison mushrooms before the one-minute timer runs out.
