**** PARAX! according to my Fan Comics, his birth name was "Robert James Koopa XXVII". Now get it over your head!! >:(Harold Roxby (talk) 23:17, March 17, 2016 (UTC)
- That is perfectly fine and understandable, but that only goes as far as your personal comics—your fanon. However, that doesn't mean that everybody else must abide by it. If we had to dictate the information on the page according to what some fan comic said, then by your logic, I could write a fan comic myself with whatever name I wanted, and that would end up replacing yours. Obviously I don't plan on doing that, because that makes no sense; the point I'm trying to make is that just because you want the name to be that, it doesn't give you the right to suddenly change the information on the character's main page.
- Furthermore, please remain civil in this discussion, and refrain from cursing. This is an extremely petty matter—there is no reason to get angry. Thank you.--Parax 01:27, March 18, 2016 (UTC)
all right parax, what the heck dude. you say that I don't get to decide what bowser's name is, same for harold. why then are YOU allowed to decide his name? I understand that this is the mariofanon wiki, but why do YOU get to push your fanon onto the wiki over Harold? Who says his fanon isn't as legitimate as yours? I'm all for containing the fanon information in the body of the article but the infobox containing his name should at least keep to regular canon.

- The name had been decided long ago—over two years ago, if I remember correctly. It wasn't me who put it there, it's simply what was decided to go there; regardless, it's not my job to decide what the name is, but rather, at least in this case, to protect the information that have been put in this wiki's articles. When somebody randomly pops in and starts trying to change what has been established and accepted here for years, then it's my duty to step in and prevent/undo that, and hopefully come up with an understanding for the user who made the mistake in the first place. That is why I am reverting your and Harold's edits; because they are interfering with what was long ago put here and some user who randomly comes along doesn't get to force us to change that. It's the same reason somebody can't just go into a country and say, "Hey, I know you've been running things for the past few years, but I want things to go my way, so I'm overruling you."
- Lastly, you say you want to keep everything to the regular canon, yet not too long ago, you were trying to change the very name in the infobox to suit your needs? If anything, it should be for summarizing important information (relatives, appearances in canon games/fanon games, etc.) like any other article.
